Energy-saving detached house
Ondruš, Marek ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design a single-family house that is low-energy. The building is located in Hlučín, Opava district. The two-story detached L-shaped house features a flat sedum roof on the top and a flat roof that serves as a step-in terrace on the first floor. The main entrance is situated on the north-east side. The ground floor comprises a utility room, a small bathroom, a study room, a storage room under the staircase, and a social zone that includes the living room and a kitchen connected with the dining room. The first floor is the private zone that contains two children's rooms, a master bedroom, a main bathroom, and a walk-in wardrobe. The building's foundations are concrete strips, while the main load-bearing structures are masonry walls designed from sand-lime blocks with ETICS insulation and a reinforced concrete floor slab. The building's heating and cooling is powered by an air-water heat pump, which also heats the hot water. Comfortable indoor microclimate provides a heat recovery ventilation unit with supply ducts in ceiling voids and fans in rooms. Rainwater is collected in a stormwater accumulation tank and reused for toilet flushing and watering the garden. The photovoltaic panels on the main green roof generate energy that can be stored in batteries or used for household appliances. The building is connected to the combined sewer, water service pipe, and electricity service. External blinds and a pergola shading system help to reduce overheating during summer.
Single-family house in Domanín
Raiskubová, Lenka ; Jechová, Marie (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to develop project documentation for a building permit for a new family house. The new building is situated on the edge of the built-up area of the village of Domanín near Uherské Hradiště. It is a two-story house with a gable roof, a cellar and a garage next to the house. The floor plan of the building is rectangular. The house has 142 m2. The vertical load-bearing wall is made of burnt blocks filled with mineral wool. The horizontal construction system is designed from a prefa-monolithic system. The roof structure on the house is a truss. On the first floor in the northern part of the house there is a vestibule, utility room, bathroom and separate toilet. The living room and kitchen are oriented to the southwest. On the second floor there are two rooms and one bedroom, a common dressing room, a bathroom with a shower and a bath and a separate toilet. 10 photovoltaic panels are designed on the house, which will cover the electricity consumption from May to September. The MVHR is located in the utility room. From the utility room, the wiring is located in the ceiling voids. The system is designed to provide a background ventilation rate of 330 m3/h. The house is heated by underfloor heating supplemented by towel radiators in the bathrooms. The hot water cylinder tank accumulates warm water from the air to water heat pump. Domestic hot water is supplied from a 230l hot water tank. Rainwater will be channeled into a accumulates tank and subsequently used to water the garden. The project includes a thermal and technical assessment of the building, an assessment from the point of view of acoustics and daylighting, and an assessment of the fire and safety solution of the building. The project documentation was developed in the Archicad software.
Detached house, Trojak
Žídek, Vojtěch ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to design a family house with low impact on an environement. The thesis has two parts, while the first one deals with structural and architectonical aspect and the second contains solution of building services. The building is located near a forest with a plot featuring terrain with low slope. It is rectangular shape building with a pitched roof and two floors. On the first floor, there is a spacious open space with a kitchen and living room, a hall, a toilet and an utility room. Access to the second floor is through a staircase directly from the hall, where there is a master bedroom, two rooms and a bathroom. Ceiling on a first floor is from a timber with a suspended ceiling. Windows and entrance door have wooden frame with triple glazing. Pitched roof is a timber structure with a metal roofing. There is no connection to water infrastructure, so a well is designed for drinking water supply, along with a storage for rain water, used for flushing, washing clothes and watering garden. Floor heating and cooling are provided by an ground-water heat pump. Ventilation is provided by a ventilation unit with heat recovery, while fresh air will be supplied to living rooms and extracted from sanitary facilities. In the southern section, roofing contains integrated photovoltaic panels.
