Bachelor theis provides a comprehensive overview of the basic characteristics of the building savings product. The second part of this work is focused on the Czech building society market which is characterized by a big amount of sources. The biggest emphasis is put on source problems and the related stability of building societies. The work also provides a summary of a current offer of Czech building socities products and various model situations focusing on the factors affecting revenue.

The subject matter of the theoretical part is the description of city public transport and its history, priorities used in public transport, tariffs and spatial distribution as well as integrated transport systems and vehicles used in public transport. The aim of the practical part is to closely examine public transport systems of individual cities, confront it from several points of view taking into consideration the exploitation and distribution of lines for different means of transport (tram, bus, trolleybus, metro). The cities investigated are Prague, Amsterdam and Budapest.

This thesis is aimed at the comparison of railroad carriers operating in personal railroad transportation. Compared were carriers České Dráhy, a.s., Deutsche Bahn A.G. and Železnice Slovnskej Republiky, e.g. Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, a.s. Theoretically oriented introduction is aimed at the description of railroad development and price setting in general, aswell as for the described branch. In the second part of the thesis the structure of the carriers is narrated with the emphasis on rate conditions of each one of them. In the conclusion some framework recomendations are outlined, to improve the surveyed situation of every carrier.

Financial analysis of the company Telefonica O2 Czech Republic

Práce řeší finanční situaci Telefóniky O2 v ČR a porovnává ji s konkurencí. Práce obsahuje vertikální a horizontální analýzu, finanční ukazatele (rentability, aktivity atd.), zlatá pravidla financování a také vzorce DuPonta nebo IN05. Kromě vnitřní, nejen finanční, situace se práce velmi intenzivně zaměřuje na konkurenční telekomunikační společnosti. V této oblasti porovnává finanční výsledky, trendy, počet zákazníků, silné a slabé stránky konkurence i O2.
