Processing of a continual blood pressure signal
Svobodová, Ivana ; Soukup, Ladislav (referee) ; Vondra, Vlastimil (advisor)
Bachelor thesis contains a general description of the blood pressure phenomenon and its importance and also deals with diseases, such as hypotension and hypertension. The work also includes a literature review of blood pressure measuring methods. Closely are discussed the non-invasive methods. The result of the work is also a unique program designed in Matlab, which is developed for signal processing of continuous blood pressure measurement for detection of SBP and DBP and MAP, pulse after pulse. To verify the functionality of the program, the further implementation was carried out in GUI. In conclusion, the obtained data are beeing analyzed statistically.
Influence of breathe to baroreceptor reflex
Humpolík, Tomáš ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with the influence of breathe to baroreceptor reflex. The first chapter is focused on measuring of blood pressure, in reference to later used method. In the second part is detailed analysis and explanation of term baroreflex, relationship between frequency spectra of systolic blood pressure, heart rate and breathing, mechanisms of regulation of blood pressure and heart rate variability. Third chapter deals with possible ways, how to analyze data, which are needed for estimation of baroreflex sensitivity, analyze of heart rate variability and estimation of power spectral density. Next parts of this thesis is paid attention to technical equipment and methods of acqusition of data, using this equipmnent. Part of this work is also software application, which makes possible from the recorded data estimate baroreflex sensitivity.
Load effect on baroreflex sensitivity
Kamenec, Jan ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
KAMENEC, J. Load effect on baroreflex sensitivity. Brno: Brno University of technology, Faculty of electrical engineering and communication, 2008. 52 p. Supervisor of bachelor’s thesis Ing. Jana Bardoňová, Ph.D. The aim of this baccalaureate thesis was study problems of the metering baroreflex and verify, whether the physical stress affects baroreflex sensitivity. The metering proceeded on the computer system Biopac, in which was projected the record of the metering. For the calculation was elected noninvasion spectral method. Measuring data by the computer system Biopac were processed by the help of the Matlab program that worked out found dependencies.
Surrogate data analysis for assessing the significance of interaction between cardiovascular signals
Javorčeková, Lenka ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Svačinová, Jana (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis was to get familiar with methods to generate surrogates and how to apply them on cardiovascular signals. The first part of this diploma thesis describes the basic theory of baroreflex function and methods to generate surrogate data. Surrogate data were generated from data, acquired from the database, by using three different methods. In the next part of this diploma thesis, coherence significance between blood pressure and heart intervals was calculated by using surrogates. In the end two hypotheses were defined and tested by which it was detected whether the orthostatic change of the measurement position has effect on the causal coherence change and baroreflex function.
Apparatus for noninvasive blood pressure measurement
Komárek, Zbyněk ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
Subjects my work will describe noninvasive method for blood pressure measuring and bring in their advantages and disadvantages. Individual method I'll weigh against in light of function, accuracy and reproducibility metering. Subject those work is also design detector of Korotkoff sounds.
