Implementation of uC/OS-II Real-Time Operating System on ARM Cortex-M4 Platform
Anisimov, Mikhail ; Dobai, Roland (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This Master's project deals with implementation of uC/OS-II real-time operating system on FITkit 3 platform, its testing and proving its functionality with simple examples. Describes an example of uC/OS-II application for displaying images on a E-ink display and application of ECCA method for increasing fault tolerance of the system.
Analysis of Knowledge Obsolescence in Ensemble-Based Component Systems
Pavliš, Filip ; Bureš, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kofroň, Jan (referee)
Designing Resilient Distributed embedded Systems is a challenging task. One of the design issues is to guarantee correct behavior of the system during the runtime. It demands verification that information propagated through the system is reliable. The goal of this thesis is a research and implementation of an analysis that should identify obsolescence of variables due to delays caused by scheduling and communication in real-time systems. Analysis will be designed for Ensemble-Based Component System (EBCS) semantics because it enables precise specification and analysis of important properties. The main problem is to find a suitable input model of the analysis and find its possible limits. Effort should be put in balancing between the level of abstraction given to a RDS developer and power of the analysis itself. The main benefit of the analysis will be detection of situations in which data processed in RDS are outdated and can cause incorrect behavior of particular components.
Punch Press Simulator
Královec, Jiří ; Bureš, Tomáš (advisor) ; Obdržálek, David (referee)
This work tries to remedy the practical part of teaching development of software for real-time systems. It does so by creation of a platform on which students can practically learn aspects of development of software for real-time systems. % (feedback control, low level programming). The resulting platform consists of a plant, a visualizer and a controller. The plant represents an industrial machine, the visualizer displays the current state of the plant. The controller drives the plant. Students learn by developing a program for the controller. The resulting platform is realized as a hardware-in-the-loop simulation -- the controller's processor and devices are real hardware, and the plant is a simulated device. The platform has a low cost, low space requirements and it is not easily breakable. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
