Assessment of road traffic signs on selected cross sections
Vaclík, Adam ; MBA, Martin Tóth, (referee) ; Varaus, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to verify the accuracy of the location of the vertical road signs at selected intersections and to consider colorimetric and retroreflective properties of some of them. If some brands fail, it is necessary to propose solutions. At the end of this work there is a summary of how many brands fail and subsequent percentaual quantification.
Svitavy Town Square - Reconstruction Design
Voříšková, Zuzana ; Matuszková, Radka (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)

Exploitation of images from panoramatic camera of mobile mapping system
Belanis, Pavel ; Buday, Michal (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with an automated detection of vertical traffic signs in images from the panoramic camera Ladybug5. From the detected signs with help of a classifier, a GIS data set is automatically created, usable for example to passportisation of traffic signs. The first part of the thesis describes a theoretical basis needed to understand the given problematics. The second part is devoted to a specific procedure leading to the reliable classifier, its testing on an independent set of images and automated creation of the GIS data set. The output of the work are the trained classifiers and the GIS data sets containing vertical traffic signs.
Analysis of critical places in road transport
Doležel, Martin ; Ledvoňová, Monika (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the modification of the existing intersection of roads I/43 and III/37717 in the village of Lažany in the South Moravian Region. The main road at this intersection is a two-lane undivided road. The intersection in question is the site of frequent traffic accidents. The subject of the diploma thesis is the description of changes in road markings in selected type intersections. The subsequent selection of own connecting intersections, a traffic survey of this location and a draft of drawing documentation consisting in the adjustment of vertical traffic markings and horizontal traffic markings, which will serve to stabilize traffic and minimize the occurrence of traffic accidents
