Automatic machine for welding of girder

The Diploma Thesis discusses the design and overall construction of an automatic machine for welding of girders. The welding machine uses the MAG Method. The designed welding machine is made as a construction set that consists of components produced by FRONIUS. The aims of the given task are an analysis of present production, and the use of the firm’s sources and the design of a workplace.

The bachelor´s project explains a choice of welding technologies for robotized welding. There are clarified two main automatic machines (welding robot and welding automat), which are supported by economical aspects. The main part of project describes general welding technologies useful for manual, semiautomatic and automatic welding including their benefits, disadvantages and possibilites of application in industry. The project is based on bibliographic search and author´s experiences.

Editor and Manager of Programs for Welding Machines

The task of this work is to update and complete the graphical user interface for color touch-panel and to add functions simplifying the work of its users. The software is being developed for plasma surfacing machines produced by KSK company. The updates and modernization included the editor and manager of welding programs and new ways of generating welding programs.
