This thesis presents a design of a new building — hotel, containing thirty accommodation units, space for employees, restaurant and vine bar meant for both customers of the hotel, and public. Hotel is situated in a cadastral area Brod nad Dyjí. Building consists of basement and five floors with proposed accommodation capacity of sixty people. The basement perimeter walls are designed from reinforced concrete with the width of 300 and 400 mm. The walls are insulated by XPS polystyrene which is 220 mm wide. Perimeter walls of the above-ground floors are proposed as a combination of reinforced concrete and reinforced skeleton concrete supplemented by masonry wall of therm type. All these constructions are insulated by 220 mm wide glass wool facade insulation. The building envelope is a light ventilated facade. All horizontal constructions are projected as reinforced concrete slabs with the width of 250 mm. The roof of the building consists of three flat parts. The lowest part of the roof is designed as a vegetation roof with extensive layer. The roof of the hotel is proposed as walkable with wear layer made of concrete pavement of dimension 400 x 400 mm. Construction of the roof above the fifth floor is designed as one layer flat roof on concrete slab with the width of 250 mm. Inside the object are three reinforced concrete staircases (main staircase, emergency staircase and staircase for staff). The main entrance to the object is situated on the south side of the property, while the staff entrances are located on the east and north-east part. Parking for the object customers is placed in front of the main entrance, parking for staff is situated on the north side. Multifunctional building
Motl, Matěj ; Párová, Jitka (referee) ; Rusinová, Marie (advisor)
The proposed multi-functional object of this diploma thesis is located not far from Kraví hora, which is visited by tourists and sportsmen, near the FAST VUT school campus. The land with a total area of 4,000 m is situated in such a way that it is bordered by a road on the eastern and northern sides. Thanks to this, good traffic service is ensured. The building is located on the eastern side of this property. 2 slopes are built on the north side. One leads to the building's underground garage and the other to the above-ground parking lot. The capacity of the underground garage is 22+2 spaces, the capacity of the external parking lot is 9+2 spaces. The underground parking lot is also operationally connected to the building by an elevator and a staircase. The outside parking lot is connected by side entrances and a pedestrian walkway that leads to the main entrance. The main entrance to the building is located on the east side of the building. Due to the slope of the terrain, the difference in height is solved by a staircase and for people with limited mobility a side ramp. The newly created building has 5 floors. The already mentioned underground garages are located in the basement. On the first above-ground floor there is an entrance hall, hygiene facilities, a cafe, an exhibition gallery and an outdoor parking lot. On the second floor, there are offices, meeting rooms, sanitary facilities and a kitchen. On the 3rd floor there are offices, meeting rooms, sanitary facilities and a kitchen. The machine room of the air handling unit is located on the 4th floor. The building is designed as a frame reinforced concrete structure made of prefabricated parts. The cladding of the building is ensured by ground brick blocks and the ETICS contact insulation system. The vertical supporting elements are reinforced concrete columns, which are based on foundation footings. In the place of the staircase, a core of reinforced concrete monolithic wall is realized. Horizontal constructions consist of beams and girders. The ceiling structure consists of pre-stressed reinforced concrete ceiling panels. The roof structure is single-skinned, flat. The load-bearing structure of the roof consists of pre-stressed reinforced concrete ceiling panels.
