Vliv vybraných agrotechnických faktorů na výnos a jeho kvalitu u cukrové řepy
Zimek, Ondřej
The aim of this diploma thesis on the topic „Influence of selected agrotechnical factors on yield and its qualiny in sugar beet“ is to focus on selected agrotechnical factors (varieties and tillage, factors that have and will have significant infuelnce on sugar beet growing in Czech republic. Data from farm trials were provided by Moravskoslezské cukrovary, s.r.o. – Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou. Data from small-plot experiments were provided by The Institute of Agrosystems and Bioclimatology of AF MENDELU from its own Field experiment station. The years 2021 and 2022 were evaluated. The observation was focuse on the trend of yield and sugar content in (pre-campaing“ sampling. The main goal was to evaluate the influence of factors on the final yield of the given locations at the end of campaign. Here the effect of variety and tillage on sugar content (%), yield (t/ha) and polarization sugar yield (t/ha) was evaluated. Regarding the infuelnce of varieties, it was found that the classic type still achieves slightly better results than the Conviso Smart variety. The influence of tillage shows at the evaluated locations that when plowing was used, sugar beet achieved better results in all parameters than when using minimalization technology.
Hodnocení řepné kampaně cukrovaru České Meziříčí
Bašková, Barbora
The bachelor thesis called "Evaluation of the beet campaign of the České Meziříčí sugar refinery" aimed to outline the issue of cultivation and evaluation of the quality of sugar beet. In particular, it focuses on factors affecting the yield and quality of the sugar beet. In the practical part, the results of the beet campaign from 1996 to 2018 were graphi-cally processed and evaluated. From the results it was found that sugar beet is a very sen-sitive crop, which is closely dependent on climatic conditions. If during the vegetation of sugar beet unfavorable or on the contrary favorable climatic conditions occur, decreases or increases of yields and sugar content occur.
Hodnocení zaplevelení vybraných porostů cukrové řepy
Kollár, Milan
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the weeds of selected growths of sugar beet. The evaluation was carried out in 2018 and 2019 on selected plots of PRO-AGRO, spol. s r.o. in the district of Vyškov. Weed evaluation on selected plots was performed using numerical method. Three observation and evaluation dates were esta-blished, first one after sowing and at the time of emergence, second before 2nd or 3rd herbicide application and the last one through August to September. The most common occurrence in the first observation period was crumble of Winter Weat (Triticum aesti-vum) a white goosefoot (Chenopodium album). In the second term, the occurrence of Lambs Quarters (Chenopodium album), the Fool’s parsley (Aethusa cynapium) and the Comfrey medical (Symphytum officinale) were observed, while in the third term the biggest issue was weed beet (Beta vulgaris var. altissima).

Thesis deals with and evaluates the production and economic aspects of sugar beet growing. Thetheoretical part of the thesis contains a detailed characteristics of the crop, including environmental requirements, the inclusion of sugar beet in the sowing process, nutrition and treatment of vegetation, harvesting and storage. The first part of the thesis also characterizes the basic methods of tillage, but also modern technologies. Thesis describes ecosystem services and uses in the fields of phytoenergetics or biotechnology. The theoretical part concludes with chapters that deal with the issue of growing economics, legislation and approach the current state of the industry. The practical part deals with the evaluation of the influence of different tillage on qualitative parameters, such as yield or sugar content. The experiment was carried out at a field experimental station in Žabčice, as part of the AGRO 2 field experiment. Three variants of tillage were evaluated - conventional tillage, minimization technology and direct sowing in the years 2017 -2019.
Vliv technologie pěstování cukrové řepy na množství a kvalitu půdní organické hmoty
NOVÁKOVÁ, Aneta
The diploma thesis is focused on monitoring the content of soil organic matter and its quality in two variants of samples. The main goal of this thesis is to analyze and compare the values of soil samples taken in the sugar beet using two different variants of agrotechnical interventions - mechanical weed control with loosening and a variant using pesticides without loosening. Sampling took place near the village of Úhřetická Lhota in the Pardubice Region. The samples were processed in the laboratory and after their analysis the monitored parameters of quantity and quality of soil organic matter were determined: CPPOH - carbon of primary soil organic matter, CSOF - carbon of stable organic fractions, Corg - total organic carbon, constant k - quality indicator of primary soil organic matter
Stanovení vybraných parametrů rozdílných způsobů zakládání porostu cukrové řepy
CHADRABA, Václav
The work is focused on operational comparison of two technologies of sugar beet growth. The comparison took place on two adjacent plots with almost the same properties. On the first plot the stand was based on Stip-Tillage technology. On the second plot was used minimalization technology, specifically loosening and subsequent preparation before sowing using a compactor. Several parameters of the soil preparation were evaluated on the plots. Subsequently, the vegetation was monitored during the growing season. The thesis is also supplemented by yield parameters and simplified economic evaluation.
Vývoj a rozmístění produkce cukrové řepy ve světě
NÁROVEC, Václav
The bachelor thesis deals with the geography of sugar beet in the world, in more detail in Europe and also in the Czech Republic. The introductory chapters evaluate relevant literature and characterize sugar beet as a crop. Data is based on data on production and sowing areas from the FAO database, Eurostat and the CZSO. Data from the years 1961 to 2016 are visualized through cartograms, cartodiagrams, graphs and tables. The results are commented on in the background of physical-geographic and time-changing socio-geographical factors affecting the cultivation and processing of sugar beet in individual territories. Total sugar beet production in the world is gradually increasing, but at different pace and fluctuations across countries. Sugar beet is mainly European crop, most currently produced by Russia (a significant increase in the last 15 years), with France, the USA and Germany stagnating (stagnation or small growth in these states), followed by Turkey, Poland, Egypt (significant increase), Ukraine (significant decline) and China. From the NUTS point of view, the biggest concentration of sugar beet production is in north-eastern France, overlapping into the Benelux. The Czech Republic is characterized by fluctuations in total production and concentration of the production locally close to the remaining 7 sugar factories.
Porovnání senzorických vlastností džemů slazených steviol-glykosidy a dalšími sladidly
KÜFFNEROVÁ, Nela
The aim of the diploma thesis was evaluation of sensoric attributes of blueberry and current jams sweetened by selected Steviol glycosides and their comparing with other sweeteners. For evaluation of sensoric attributes were used rebaudioside A, stevioside, aspartame, erythritol and sugar beet. Stevia rebaudiana var. Bertoni is a persistent plant, which contains sweetening Steviol glycosides, which have a use in food processing. They are available in the area of EU indicated as E960 since 2011. The most used Steviol glycosides are stevioside and rebaudioside A, which are demarcated with a high sweetness, which could be 200-400 times higher than saccharose. The usage of sweeteners is legislatively allowed, which means it is also allowed to do sensoric analyse and detect perception of added substances in food. These analyses evaluate food with the help of sense - perception. Methodical part of the work contains procedure, used methods for gaining evaluation of data from a sensoric analyse after the degustation of jams, which has taken place with the presence of ten judges - an academic students in the working compartment of University of South Bohemia. Respondents entered their evaluation into protocols, which were prepared in advance. The results of diploma thesis are evaluated by the method of Kramer, which is used for this kind of analyse. The critical scale between 20 and 40 with the value of probability P = 95% was defined according to this method. Evaluation is described with the help of graphs and tables, added with a wordily describtion. Conclusion of analyse of diploma thesis is, that the usage of Steviol glycosides is not most suitable way of sweetening jams. Acceptable valuations of jams containing Steviol glycosides were proven in parameters of colour and aroma. The reasons for less successful evaluation of Steviol glycosides could be due to bad pH of food or badly chosen dosing, without combination of other kinds of sweeteners. The best sensory characteristics traditionally showed sugar beet and aspartame followed by rebaudioside A and stevioside, which were placed on the third and forth place from five used sweeteners. The part of the diploma thesis was an evaluation of questionnaire, where the result was, that asked people preferred fruit ingredient of jams (type of fruit, amount) not their way of sweetening while choosing a jam.
