Tool for subjective quality evaluation of audiosignals restoration
Černý, Viktor ; Dorazil, Jan (referee) ; Záviška, Pavel (advisor)
Bacherol thesis deals with the theory of audio signal depreciation and reconstruction, with objective tests and subjective methods of reconstructed signal evaluation. At first, there are described several types of depreciation of audio signals and then reconstruction types for their reconstruction. After the reconstruction, types six objective and six subjective tests are mentioned for the evaluation of audio signal quality. The next part of the Bachelor thesis is the description of the program that was implemented in the programming language Java. The program is designed to design MOS, MUSHRA and ABX listening tests as well as to use for the actual testing. At the end of the thesis are the results of the listening tests that were used to test the program and the user ratings of the application.
Impact of rebuffering events on subjective QoE measurement of streaming video
Hůrek, Marek ; Pokorný, Jiří (referee) ; Kováč, Dominik (advisor)
This bachelor thesis mainly deals with the creation of a web-tool for subjective evaluation of quality of video in initial and repeated video loading and buffering. The simulation of adaptive streaming, focused on buffering, is performed on the basis of scenarios created in the database that are randomly generated and implemented into the aforementioned web-tool. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on the analyzation of different types of streaming, streaming services and QoE service (subjective and objective evaluation). Two basic methods for the subjective evaluation (laboratory method and crowdsourcing) are described in more detail. At the end there are analyzed data received from measurement. Results are put into graphs with a description of subjective evaluation MOS.
Method for Subjective Assessment of Direction of Arrival for Object-Based Audio Systems
Hořák, Pavel ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with issues concerning subjective assessment of direction of arrival. Measuring of electroacoustics and acoustics parameters are evaluated and de- scribed in this thesis; the treatment of these parameters is required. Main output of this work is the vector based panning and its practical usage and evaluation.
Measurement of quality and errors of digital video in MPEG-2 TS at DVB-T reception
Kadlček, Jiří ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Polák, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes structure of the transport stream MPEG-2 TS of the DVB-T standard and subjective and objective measuring methods of the video quality. The work also includes the description of the measurement devices and software Quality Analyzer R&S DVQ, measuring decoder ¸ DVMD, MPEG-2 Realtime Monitor, MPEG-2 Quality Monitor, which were used for the measuring the video quality and errors of the MPEG-2 TS in DVB-T. In the next part the work deals with the measurement and analysis of errors and quality of digital video stream in MPEG-2 TS. The obtained results from the measurement are presented in tables and graphically evaluated. In this work a twentyfour hour measurements of errors and quality of digital video stream in MPEG-2 TS were made. The obtained results from these measurements are evaluated and discussed. Finally, a new laboratoy work for the simultaneously measurement of the errors in video stream and video quality of the MPEG-2 TS stream was proposed.
Video Quality Measurement for HEVC
Klejmová, Eva ; Veřtát,, Ivo (referee) ; Slanina, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with standard objective and subjective video quality assessments and with analysis of their applicability to HEVC. Also basic description of video compression standard H.265/HEVC is presented. The main focus of the thesis is a creation of the database of compressed video sequences. Important parameters and features of the reference encoder HM-12 are discussed. Selected methods of objective video quality assessments are implemented on the created database. A part of this thesis is also a suggestion of method for objective video quality assessment, application of this method and associated data collection. Final data is statistically analyzed and it’s correlation with objective tests is discussed.
Subjective quality evaluation of video sequences
Krmela, Tomáš ; Fliegel, Karel (referee) ; Polák, Ladislav (advisor)
This master´s work is focused on the comparison of subjective assessment of the quality of video sequences. In this study, data are obtained by hardware and sofware techniques and they are compared. In the introduction, methods of video compressions are described. The main part of this work deals wtih the exploring of different methods of subjective assessment of the quality of video sequences. Finally, obtained results from different methods, are evaluated and discussed.
Picture Quality Analysis in Digital Television Systems
Bednarz, Robin ; Slanina, Martin (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the analysis of quality in digital television systems and contains theoretical description of subjective and objective assessment of quality picture methods. The thesis contains short-term and long-term analysis of quality picture of terrestrial television DVB-T. Measurements and experimentations were carried out with the help of Rohde&Schwarz DVQ analyzer of picture quality and software MPEG-2 Quality Monitor and MPEG-2 Elementary stream analyzer.
Simulation of the HVS characterstics in Matlab
Ševčík, Martin ; Slanina, Martin (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
In theoretical part Diploma thesis deals with the model of human vision HVS (Human Visual System), which can be used for image quality assessment in TV technique area. It has been described calculations of selected JND (Just Noticeable Difference) metrics, used in evaluation of HVS. In practical part of the thesis it has been suggested and realized simulation model in Matlab, which may be used for evaluation of three JND metrics from color and grayscale images and evaluation in spatial a frequency domain. Results of JND models have been compared to another objective image quality evaluation metrics (MSE, NMSE, SNR and PSNR). For interpretation of dependencies it has been used images with different defined content.
Character of Movement Activities by student's (of Health and Social Studies and Faculty of Agriculture - University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice) and Their Motivation.
LICHTENBERGOVÁ, Iva
This diploma thesis deals with students´ movement activities of Faculty of Health and Social Studies at University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. Theoretical part of this thesis is focused on a description of these activities and their influence on individual body systems, their negative influences and at least of a motivation to them. The aim of this work was to find out the students´ movement habits (the students of Faculty of Health and Social Studies at University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice) and compare these students´ movement activities between the Faculty of Health and Social Studies and the Faculty of Agriculture. There were given three hypothesis and for their statistical proofing was chosen an evaluation with chi-square test. The way of collecting dates was a questionnaire research. The respondents for my research were chosen accidentally, then was made an analysis of 300 questionnaires.
Nature of diet and physical activity in lifestyle of students of Faculty of Health and Social Studies of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (ZSF JCU)
LICHTENBERGOVÁ, Iva
This Bachelor thesis focuses on basic information about nutrition and the importance of movement for a healthy lifestyle. The results of research on the quality diet and physical activities of the students of ZSF JCU are presented in the practical part. The research implies that ZSF JCU students asses their lifestyle positively in terms of nourishment. There has been a difference discovered between eating habits of men and women. The research also gives evidence that male and female ZSF JCU students differ in physical activities. Men do physical activities more often than women.
