Characteristic of ESP written communication

Cílem této bakalářské práce je definovat, co je to angličtina pro specifické účely, vymezit její styly a žánry. Tato práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. V první části je stručně představen anglický jazyk pro specifické účely a jeho historie. Jsou zde přiblíženy styly tohoto jazyka a je vysvětleno jejich použití. Ve druhé části jsem definoval žánry tohoto jazyka, vysvětlil účel každého z nich a ukázal, jak se dále dělí. Ve třetí části jsou prezentovány části textů, jež jsou analyzovány a porovnány: dva texty z elektrotechniky a dva texty z medicíny. V obou oblastech je porovnáván úryvek z populárně vědeckého článku a učebnice. Analýza je provedena ve čtyřech kategoriích: koheze, deixe, signposting a hedge. Tyto výsledky jsou porovnány nejdříve ve stejném oboru mezi rozlišnými styly a následně mezi odlišnými obory – elektrotechnika a medicína. Všechny výsledky jsou komentovány.
Russian Poetry at the Beginning of 21st Century

This diploma thesis is written on one of the least investigated and the least known areas of the Russian literature - contemporary Russian poetry. The aim of this thesis is to propose certain perception of, on one hand, the artistic patterns and contents, and, on the other hand, of the historical, cultural, social and aesthetic significance of the contemporary poetry. The key principles of the current poetic scene include the shift of the literary paradigm, aesthetic pluralism, and variety of the artistic styles. This work consists of three parts. The first chapter describes the theory of the forming of the post- Soviet literature, as well as its state after the second half of the 1980's until the present day, in the context of social, cultural and literary factors. The features and certain phenomena of the current literary process are also discussed within the first chapter. The second chapter examines the main aesthetic trends of the contemporary Russian poetry. The last part of the thesis provides the look upon the problematic and thematic characteristics as well as the stylistic features of the contemporary poetry. The research is based on the analysis of the works of some of the most outstanding contemporary Russian poets, which were included in the representative sample of this thesis: A....

The Impact of Management Styles on Employee Efficiency

The subject of the thesis is an analysis of management styles used in different departments and the impact of these styles on the employee efficiency in the concrete company. First theoretical part describes the main terms and definitions from leadership and management styles with regard to the employee efficiency. Defining the term efficiency and its factors such as motivation, satisfaction or turnover is one of the problematic areas of this work. Second practical part consists of the presentation of the company, analysis of the current problems and analysis of the management styles used in the company and its impact on the company culture and the employee efficiency. Summary is based on recommendations for the management regarding the efficiency of employees and the whole company.
Fictitious reconstruction of the historical center in Czech Budejovice

Abstract The theoretical part of my thesis was to describe the architectural evolution of selected buildings of the historic centre of the town České Budějovic (Budweiss) using professional literature and preserved records, according to which documented the architectural evolution of selected buildings based on their historical valuables. I also focused on historic buildings from the late 19th century and the next buildings, which are often characterized by imbalances of decorative elements. The practical part comprise study drawings of selected buildings, which are based on the documentation and the theoretical part of my thesis. The practical part includes didactic part, which is focused at pupils in the first grade. In this didactic part, I identify how students perceive the architecture and if they could used architectural elements correctly. Also I was monitoring the level of imagination and expressiveness of the drawings from the pupils.
