The subject of the thesis is the comparison of selected socio-demographic indicators ORP Chrudim and ORP Polička. Demographic comparison is based on the population structure and basic demographic processes. This comparison is complemented by selected social indicators. Comparison of some indicators is not selected ORP, but also in the Czech Republic or the European Union and global trends.

The structure of the population of Most district: history, present and possible future development options Abstract The objective of this study is to evaluate the historical, current and possible future development of the structure of the population, which live in the analyzed district of Most. Within the district are compared the structures of the population by sex, age, marital status, educational attainment, nationality, religion and economy activity in each selected years. In the first part, the history of settlement of the current district is briefly explained. Development of the settlement in the 20th century and development of the structures of population follows. In the next part, the current structures of the population and possible options for future development of the population of the district are given. Differences of the structures of the population structure during the existence of life in the district are evaluated in the conclusion part. Selected demographic characteristics of population in structurally affected districts of the Czech Republic late in the 20th and early in the 21th century Abstract The main objective of this work is and methods to analyze and evaluate the structure of the population of selected structurally affected districts through demographic indicators. Using comparative methods we will verify the justified classification of these districts among structurally affected regions. The first part consists of the theoretical framework of the thesis, containing definitions and legislative elements of regional development. The main part of the thesis discusses the analysis itself. Here we will attest that the selected structurally affected districts lag behind the national average in the Czech Republic in the selected population characteristics. The paper also describes current trends in the demographic behavior of the population of the Czech Republic. These trends are eventually compared with the demographic development in structurally affected districts in the past 20 years. Process and rate of disability among seniors

The most characteristic feature of the demographic development in the Czech Republic and other developed countries is population ageing. The aim of the thesis "The process and rate of disability among seniors" was to determine the extent to which disability interferes with the lives of the seniors and to map the development, progress and conditions of the pension system. After an introductory overview of basic concepts, a part of the thesis deals with a theoretical analysis of the European framework of social security of seniors and another part is concerned with the reform of disability pensions in the Czech Republic. The focus is also on the forms of care for disabled pensioners. The empirical part analyzes the areas related to the development of population structure, administrative agenda, overview of pensions according to the WHO diagnosis groups, total overview of disability pensions, the development of the structure of pensions, financing of pension administration, and the average age of retired people. The economic side is also included, where pensions are compared with average salary and also the economic activity of seniors. This bachelor's thesis focuses on select aspects of the process of Czechization of České Budějovice between the mid-19th century until the early 20th century. The aspects in question are mainly the following: economic development, evolution of the population structure, and political competition on a municipal level. In regard to the evolution of the population structure, this thesis primarily focuses on the ambivalence of national identity. As concerns the economic shift, the focal point is the contemporary development of business life in the city and the competition between the Czech and German parties involved. When it comes to political competition, it follows the inner workings of municipal administration and elections, which played a major part the particular way that the national emancipation of the Czech population of České Budějovice developed, not only on a political level. Sociální vývoj obce Jedlové od druhé světové války

The subject of the thesis Social Development of the Municipality of Jedlová since World War II is the analysis of the municipality from the end of the Second World War to the present. The village is located in the Pardubice Region, the district of Svitavy and belongs to SO ORP Polička. The first part of the thesis is the theoretical outline of the development of rural and rural communities after the Second World War. The second part is focused on the characteristics of the village in terms of history, settlement, climate, population structure and economy. This part is processed using a quantitative method. There are used data of the Czech Statistical Office and other data servers, which are compared in graphs and tables. In the third part, a municipal analysis is carried out using a qualitative method - through interviews and information from the chronicle of Jedlová village. In conclusion, the results of the diploma thesis are evaluated and exported to the given locality and municipality.

Srovnání sociální struktury běloruského a českého venkova a jeho vlivu na agrobyznys

The bachelor thesis is mainly focused on the analysis of contemporary countryside and mean-ing of agribusiness in the life of the villager. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters: Republic of Belarus and the Czech Republic. Belarusian countryside, demographic structure, human potential, problems and perspectives of development of Belarusian village has been described in detail in the chapter Belarus. The chapter about the Czech Republic gives a general characteristic of the Czech countryside in terms of historical development and state policy towards agriculture. In the practical part, for Belarusian and Czech villages has been conducted the demographic study. Also, in this part of thesis STEP analysis of the rural area of Belarus and the Czech Republic has been carried out. The obtained data were compared with each other and, as a result, has been defined the main differences between Czech and Belorussian countryside and has been determined the significance of the agricultural business in both states.

Demographic Development in the Suburban Zone of Prague

The bachelor thesis deals with the demographic development in the suburban zone of Prague, the territory most affected by the process of suburbanization. The aim of the thesis is to characterize the development of the demographic structure of monitored areas, to capture changes in the level of selected demographic indicators and to create a projection of the future development of the population. In the surveyed areas, the size of the population increased significantly during the period under review, mainly due to migration of specific age groups into the area. Immigration has led to a significant rejuvenation of the population and has brought about changes in the population structure that have had a decisive influence on the further development of the surveyed demographic indicators.
