Vybrané demografické charakteristiky obyvatelstva strukturálně postižených okresů ČR na konci 20. a počátkem 21. století Abstrakt Hlavním cílem práce je prostřednictvím demografických ukazatelů a metod analyzovat a zhodnotit strukturu obyvatelstva vybraných strukturálně postižených okresů. Pomocí komparativní metody ověříme oprávněné zařazení těchto okresů mezi tzv. strukturálně postižené regiony. První část tvoří teoretický rámec celé práce, obsahuje definice a legislativní prvky z oblasti regionálního rozvoje. Hlavní část práce se zabývá samotnou analýzou, kde si ověříme, že vybrané strukturálně postižené okresy zaostávají za celostátním průměrem České republiky u vybraných charakteristik obyvatelstva. V práci jsou popsány i aktuální trendy v demografickém chování obyvatelstva České republiky. Tyto trendy jsou následně porovnány s demografickým vývojem ve strukturálně postižených okresech za posledních 20 let. Klíčová slova: strukturálně postižený region, transformace průmyslu, demografické charakteristiky, komparativní analýza, struktura obyvatelstva Selected demographic characteristics of population in structurally affected districts of the Czech Republic late in the 20th and early in the 21th century Abstract The main objective of this work is and methods to analyze and evaluate the structure of the population of selected structurally affected districts through demographic indicators. Using comparative methods we will verify the justified classification of these districts among structurally affected regions. The first part consists of the theoretical framework of the thesis, containing definitions and legislative elements of regional development. The main part of the thesis discusses the analysis itself. Here we will attest that the selected structurally affected districts lag behind the national average in the Czech Republic in the selected population characteristics. The paper also describes current trends in the demographic behavior of the population of the Czech Republic. These trends are eventually compared with the demographic development in structurally affected districts in the past 20 years.
