Motorcycle wheel force transducer
Krišpín, Jakub ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Tobiáš, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a driven motorcycle measuring wheel. The wheel is designed for a KTM RC 390 motorcycle but can be used on another motorcycle if the centre section is replaced. The wheel is designed to measure torque and longitudinal and vertical force, which is very useful for analysing the dynamics of the motorcycle. The measurement systems designed to measure the forces and moments on the wheels of the vehicles are introduced in the beginning of this thesis. Furthermore, the wheel design for the selected motorcycle is presented including the optimization of the wheel spoke shape. The optimized shape creates a region of homogeneous stress where strain gauges are installed to measure torque. Subsequently, structural analysis is performed in Ansys software using FEM. It verifies the structure in terms of strength. Then suitable strain gauges are selected and their wiring is designed. The proposed measuring wheel should serve as an alternative to commercially available measuring systems which are very expensive. The material cost of the presented wheel is approximately 78 thousand CZK.

Stehno, Pavel ; Ivana,, Švaříčková (referee) ; Zlámal, Martin (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis I study designing and appraising monolithic ceiling slab, which is statically solved by two - way slab. In order to dimension this load - bearing structure to effect of bending moments will be applied computer simulation. The solution is checked by simple method of total moments. Very important part of this thesis is structural analysis affecting pushing through the ceiling slab. Pushing will be soluted by manual analysis, results will be compared with output values of computer analysis. Critical state sagging of the ceiling slab is solved very marginally. The main purpose of this thesis consists of creation technical report, structural analysis and design documentation of soluted structure.

Finding kinematic quantities of a mechanism and a structural analysis of its members after blockage
Zvozil, Ondrej ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
Mechanizmus v kritických polohách je potom zaťažovaný so zablokovanými ramenami stieračov. Nakoniec sú urobené lineárne analýzy straty vzpernej stability súčastí, u ktorých môže nastať, nasledované nelineárnymi analýzami so zahrnutými imperfekciami.
Piston of a spark-ignition engine for 3-D printing
Zelko, Lukáš ; Dlugoš, Jozef (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
The goal of the thesis was to design a piston manufactured by conventional method and subsequently adjusted one for additive manufacturing. Beside the designs, thermo-structural model was created for both pistons, considering maximal loading of the engine. Analysis evaluation showed the possibility of further application of the new technology in comparison to current one, within automotive industry.

S použitím vytvorených výpočtových modelov sú vykonané štrukturálne analýzy a vyhodnotené viaceré výsledky, následne zhrnuté a porovnané s pôvodnými výpočtovými a experimentálnymi výsledkami. Rozbor porovnania výsledkov a zhodnotenie použiteľnosti a spoľahlivosti jednotlivých výpočtových modelov tvoria záver práce.
Pulse flow of liquid in flexible tube
Komoráš, Miroslav ; Šedivý, Dominik (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
This master’s thesis is dealing with analysis of fluid flow pulse in a flexible tube representing e.g. an artery in a human body. In ANSYS program, 3D simulations were performed, and these are so-called interrelated FSI analysis. In Maple software, 1D simulations of fluid flow in the tube were performed for various thin-walled and thick-walled variants. The aim is using these programs to determine the flow rates and pressures in the tube, its wall deformation and stress. Therefore, the theoretical part deals mainly with basic equations of flow dynamics, linear and nonlinear models and rotationally symmetric vessels. In the computational part are described individual procedures in the mentioned programs.
Analysis of structural and proportional criteria of Romanesque and Pre-Romanesque rotundas.
Kříž, Pavel ; Kalousek, Lubor (referee) ; Unger,, Josef (referee) ; Vlček, Milan (advisor)
Topic of this dissertation thesis follows previous dissertations dealing with reconstructions of historical buildings that were successfully defended at Institute of Building Structures, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology. The thesis deals with Romanesque and Pre-Romanesque round churches, called rotundas, that were built between 9th and 13th century in the historical territory of Great Moravia. Churches of similar shape can be also found in surrounding countries, but only scarcely. By the time of origin these rotundas were among the oldest masonry buildings built within borders of contemporary Czech Republic. Later some rotundas were destroyed and are known only thanks to the archaeological findings or written records. Some are still waiting to be discovered. Surviving rotundas are the oldest masonry buildings in Czech Republic, therefore it can be said that they belong to the most valuable historical buildings in the country. Preserved rotundas were often modified or rebuild in some way. Thanks to their age, origins of many of these buildings are shrouded in a mystery, which is one of the reasons why they attract attention of many researchers – archaeologists, historians and art historians. Many questions arise from their research. These questions have interdisciplinary character and finding the answers requires cooperation of specialists in different fields. One of these fields is building engineering. This dissertation thesis deals with proportional and structural analysis of Pre-Romanesque and Romanesque rotundas. For the proportional analysis author focused on verifying of some of the hypotheses of other researchers connected to the Romanesque rotundas. These include hypothesis dealing with use of historical units for the design of rotundas, hypothetical use of proportional canon, or some universal sets of proportional ratios of vertical and horizontal dimensions. The proportional analysis also helped with verification of some hypothe
