This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the analysis of selected indicators of the company ČSOB, a.s. The first part of this thesis clarifies theoretical resources of time series and regression analysis. The second part of this thesis is focused on the analysis of selected indicators using the knowledge from the first part. If it is possible, data will be aligned by regression function and forecast for the future will be made.

Second part contains practical realization of sociological research and creating of question-form, processing of collected facts, interpretation of conclusions and recommendations for users of social network Facebook.

Website should serve not only players, club officials, association officials and referees, but also to the general public. The web portal will be used for the publication of results and statistics of the matches organized by the District Football Association, competitions fixtures, records of Association’s expert committees, information for clubs and football fans, delegation of referees etc.

Assessment of the Financial Situation of a Company Using Time Series

In this work, the application of statistical methods used for the evaluation of the economic indicators of Matrix, as, and on the basis of suggestions made to improve the financial situation. The theoretical part describes the issue of time series and selected economic indicators. In the practical part are then analyzed provided the financial statements of the company and then using a time series regression analysis predicted the future development of the company. The company is in very good financial shape but should focus on liquidity and profitability, which do not show the recommended values.

The thesis is focused on the analysis of economic indicators of Brno Transport Company, Inc. using statistical methods. The issue of time series, regression analysis and selected economic indicators is illustrated in the theoretical part. In the practical part the indicators will be analyzed using time series and regression analysis associated with their predictions for the future. The last part contains recommendations for possible determination of strategies and business objectives.

The work is divided into a theoretical part, analysis of current situation, and proposed solutions. The theoretical part concerns the important terms of time series and clarifies regression analysis. In the analytical part, the theoretical evaluation is applied to the current state of society and forecasts are made for the future.

The work includes both basic theoretical background and specific analysis of selected indicators along with an estimate of their future development, if it is possible to predict.
