Design of production technology for cone rotary mechanism
Knápek, Merlin ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is focused on design of production technology for protype of rotary bearing for children's excavator, which consists of conical pin and conical bushing. Specified production volume is 1 piece. Material was changed for both components to stainless steel AISI 303. From concidered technologies was chosen machining, specifically machining on conventional machines. Individual methods required for production were analyzed, including turning, milling, grinding, drilling and threading. Original design was modified so that only lathe and drilling machine have to be used for machining. Based on machines and chosen method were selected suitable tools, gauges and aids for production and was developed manufacturing process also acompanied by operational instructions.
The production of a gully
Králíček, Václav ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
Aim of the thesis is possible innovation in production of a body of floor gully. Material of the gully is an austenitic stainless steel 1.4301 (X5CrNi18-10). This particular gully belongs to floor drainage portfolio of ACO Industries k.s., which is a world leading company in drainage systems. The current welded variant has been replaced by a combination of conventional drawing and dimpling. The geometry of the drain bottom was designed in accordance with the requirements of the ČSN EN ISO 14159 standard and EHEDG documents on the hygiene of equipment for use in the food industry. Technological calculations were made for the new designed geometry, the bottom of the inlet will be made in one drawing operation together with the dimpling of the pre-made hole. The production process was verified using numerical simulation. Part of the solution was the production of a prototype for testing of the flow rate. During the flow rate test, the requirements given by the standard were fulfilled. Combined tool for drawing and dimpling was designed. The tool is designed for use in hydraulic press Dieffenbacher PO250 II with magnetic tool clamping. The financial savings compared to the current floor drain design are about 243,43 CZK. With a specified production series of 700 pieces per year with an expected increase of 15 % in the following years, the return on investment for the purchase of the tool was calculated to be 2,65 years.
Manufacturing of the box
Bednář, Jaroslav ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
This thesis concerns the design and production of a rotary-shaped soap box made of chrome-nickel austenitic steel 1.4301 0.5 mm thick, with a production batch of 50,000 boxes per year. Due to the size of the batch, the cutting and drawing technology without wall thinning was chosen for one drawing operation using a single tool. Based on analysis of the possibility of producing the tool and the necessary calculations, a tool was designed for the production of the lid and another tool was designed for the production of the lower part of the box. The corresponding hydraulic presses were then selected. A CUPS 25 DEU press from HŠV Polička with a forming force of 250 kN was selected to produce the lid and a Formetal PPCT-200 press with a forming force of 2000 kN was selected to produce the bottom part of the box. The production process is fully automated with an unwinding, straightening and scrapping line from Šmeral.
Production concept of catch basin
Kubátová, Denisa ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The project is focused on the production of catch basin, used for bottling, and pouring aggressive substances. The basin will be made of corrosion-resistant austenitic chrome-nickel-molybdenum steel 17 346 in a production series of 15,000 pieces per year. The literary research is carried out on the technology of surface forming, specifically drawing. The practical part is devoted to the design of the technology for the production of the part and technological calculations that show that the part will be pulled out in one pulling operation using a holder. Based on the calculations, a pulling tool was designed, and finally, according to the calculated necessary pulling force for the production of the part, a PO 630 press with a nominal force of 6,300 kN was chosen.
Aquatic centre
Kudelová, Aneta ; Řehák, Filip (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis, entitled Aquatic centre, deals with the design of a three-story building for water sports activities. The site of the proposed building is located in the city district of Brno - Pisárky on the land of the former wastewater treatment plant, on whose existing reinforced concrete structure it is also designed. The building consists of one underground and two above-ground floors. The building includes a pool hall with a 50-meter swimming pool, a whirlpool, a non-swimming pool and a children's pool. A wellness center with a small fitness facility is planned on the second floor. There are eight saunas in the wellness area, two of which are steam, three whirlpools and two cooling pools. Two of these hot tubs and one cooling pool are designed in the spaces of the outdoor terrace. These facilities are connected by a central cloakroom. The building also includes spaces for the clubhouse of the rowing club and a storage room for canoes. The structure of the building is divided into two parts: a wooden structure made of slatted beams and columns for the pool hall and a reinforced concrete skeleton structure with perimeter reinforced concrete walls for the rest of the building. The roof is an L-shaped counter with a vegetation layer. In the middle of the building there is an outdoor atrium, also with a vegetation layer. Most of the building, apart from the glass facades, is covered by an external metal facade with added vegetation.
Finishing machining of hard-to-machine materials
Filípek, Timotej ; Varhaník, Matúš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The Master‘s thesis focuses on processing of hard-to-machine materials by the finishing machining methods. The first chapter comprises division and characteristics of finishing technologies in the field of machining processes. The chapter following includes division and characteristics of the hard-to-machine materials. The experimental part – another significant part of the thesis – is focused on grinding of mostly bearing rings made of hard-to-machine materials. The aim of the experimental part is to compare and subsequently assess the use of various kinds of grinding wheels in the grinding process of a given workpiece material. Several parameters are examined from the technological and economic point of view. The assessment of the experimental part provides an overview on the advantages and disadvantages of the use of the grinding wheels in the grinding process of a given material for large-scale production. The conclusion is a summary of the results obtained in the experimental part.
The viticulture Lahofer
Čech, Richard ; ing.arch. Lukáš Ležatka, Ph.D (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kacálek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis extends the bachelor’s studio project aimed at creating a survey on a new building for Vinařství Lanhofer company. The considered area lies in the territory of Dobšice near Znojmo and with its slightly rolling landscape is used for agricultural purposes. The mentioned trapezoid building site faces southwest, at the time was covered with vineyard and was bordered by minor roads connecting the plot to Dobšice and Suchohrdly. Building a new production site that would be able to produce up to 60 thousand bottles of wine, could be also used as storage space or would incorporate related services was intended. There were premises for public use, formal events or wine-tasting planned. The layout included restaurant with outside seating, sanitary facilities both for visitors and employees. Such a large-scale production of wine could be almost considered an industrial production that set up the main idea of the design. The basic clue of this project is searching an ideal shape of the production area that – in historical context of industrial buildings – is saw-shaped rooftop silhouette. The material concept of the building is based on visual and logical separating of production premises from public spaces that had been achieved by distinguishing both areas by using different facade cover. Stainless steel representing production environment and Cor-Ten patina steel panelling describing eternal wine maturation.
