Advanced epidemic models and their analysis
Skácelová, Radka ; Šremr, Jiří (referee) ; Čermák, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis analyzes several SIR epidemiological models which are described by a system of non-linear differental equations; it is mainly focused on SIR models with biths and deaths describing long-term epidemics. The goal of this thesis is to develop and analyze models with a time delay, and to extend some of the studied models using the graph theory, find their stationary states and analyze their stability. The thesis is particularly focused on spatially heterogenous stationary states for special types of graphs - complete graphs, stars and cycles.

Stochastic modelling of epidemics
Drašnar, Jan ; Staněk, Jakub (advisor) ; Hlubinka, Daniel (referee)
This thesis uses a simple deterministic model represented by an ordinary di- fferential equation with two equilibrium points - depending on the initial state the illness either vanishes or persists forever. This model is expanded by adding some diffusion coefficients leading to different stochastic differential equations. They are analyzed to show how the choice of diffusion coefficients changes be- havior of the model in proximity of its equilibria and near the boundary of area with biological meaning. The theoretical results are than illustrated by computer simulations. 1
Extremes of more-variable functions - a digest of solved examples
ZACHAROVÁ, Jana
The main goal of my bachelor work on the topic "Extremes of more-variable functions - a digest of solved examples" is to create a set of solved exercises, which could serve students of Mathematical analysis II for practicing. The work will be bearing on functions with two, but even three variables For better understanding, the individual examples will be arranged from the simpliest to the most complex. In my work appear polynomic functions, but also logaritmic, goniometric, or exponential functions to practice more difficult derivations too. During the solving of the examples will be used systems of equations, linear, but also quadratic.
The differential calculus of functions of several variables
BEŇADIK, Vladislav
This thesis includes solving the basic examples of differential calculus (especially two and three variables). The work covers examples of the solutions of the domain, the first and second partial derivatives, determining the functions of local extremes (both explicitly and implicitly given) and find the equation of the tangent plane to a point in the graphs of functions. The examples are sorted by difficulty.
