Syndrome of problem behavior in adolescence

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of syndrome of risk behaviour in adolescence. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of adolescence, the definition of the concept of risk behavior, and especially on individual areas of risk behavior in adolescence, specifically substance abuse, negative phenomena in the field of psychosocial development and risk behavior in the reproductive area. The bachelor thesis also includes risk and protective factors influencing the emergence of risky behavior and methods of prevention. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is based on questionnaires, for students from different types of secondary schools focused on the occurrence and form of risky behavior, when a quantitative evaluation is applied. It also includes an analysis of the effectiveness and focus of primary prevention of risky behavior at selected secondary schools.
Methods of adaptation in the boarding school from the point of view of educators

The diploma thesis is entitled: Methods of adaptation to a boarding school from the perspective of educators and it deals with the process of adaptation of new students from the perspective of an educator. The theoretical part deals with the institution of a boarding school and educators working in it, describes the process and selected methods of adaptation and last but not least, focuses on the specifics of youth of high school age. The practical part of the thesis firstly describes in detail the research methodology and then presents the resulting information collected through a mixed (qualitative and quantitative) form of research. The aim of this paper is to learn what methods the educators use to make the process of adaptation of new students at boarding schools easier.
Leisure Time of Secondary School Youth in Karlovy Vary

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to find out how high school youth in Karlovy Vary spend their leisure time and to make a contribution to the improvement in spending their leisure time. Leisure time is an indispensable part of youth's life. Next reason for this thesis is to improve communication and cooperation between teachers and pupils. The research took place in Karlovy Vary at four high schools with various specialization. Theoretical part is focused on leisure time and it's functions, forms, history and institutions. In practical part there are data collected for the research realization. Then the hypothesis determinated at the beginning of the thesis is evaluated. The thesis as a whole is evaluated in the conclusion and suggestions are presented how to improve the way young people spend their leisure time. Koncept zájmového útvaru v oblasti nábytkářství a dřevařství pro žáky SOŠ

The purpose of the bachelor´s thesis is to design an interest association for high school students. Target group was delimited by a branch of study, furniture production and woodworking industry. Interest group members are supposed to deal with purchase order per realistic requests from a kindergarten. The theoreti-cal part is dedicated to an interpretation of a terminology. Specific terms are youth at high school age, interest association and education, free time and the meaning of being actively engaged. The goal of practical part is to analyse a detailed conception of the interest group including schedule. The process begins at task assignment, then it goes through sketching and designing to production. Installation of the final product completes the whole process. In the bachelor’s thesis, there is used a qualitative method of research. Several teachers from vocational schools focusing at furniture production and woodworking industry evaluated the form and work of interest association during the process described above. The course is supposed to provide an opportunity for students to get experienced and thus to be capable of connecting theoretical knowledge and practice. Moreover, the participation could help them to present themselves at labour market. Another benefit of participation is being actively engaged during free time, prevention of bad behaviour and strengthening social competences.
Risk behavior of high school students.

The bachelor thesis is focused on risk behaviour of secondary school students. The origins and consequences of this behaviour may vary and we may come across it more and more often. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is focused on literature dealing with this issue and also studying current researches. The practical part is my own research. The aim of this part was to establish whether the type of school, grammar school or vocational school, would affect the measure and variation of risk behaviour of secondary school students. Data collection in a form of a questionnaire was used in both types of the schools. As a result of the research, it became clear that there is no significant difference in risk behaviour at either of the schools.
The feeding habbits of highschool teenagers

The topic of the thesis is "Feeding habits of highschool teenagers". The theoretical part of thesis is focused on common known facts of healthy feeding, nutrition analysis in contrast with unhealthy feeding and currently availible food related preventive measures. This theoretivcal part is followed by the quantitative research part. The research was constructed as questionnaires. The aim of this work is to find out feeding habits of highschoolers and design appropriate preventive measure.
Education in the family and its reflection in teaching from the perspective of secondary school teachers

The theme of this bachelor thesis is 'Education in the family and its reflection in teaching from the perspective of secondary school'. It describes the importance of the family education factor in relation to the education of secondary school students. For the purposes of the thesis, mixed research was used, the polling method. By analyzing the results, it was found that the upbringing in the family from the point of view of secondary school teachers influences the pupil not only in his behavior towards the teacher and schoolmates but is also reflected in his study results.
