Analysis of policy in support of generation electricity from renewable resources in Czech republic.

The bachelor thesis aims on analysis of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources in the Czech Republic and its historical development. In the view of gradual growth of consumption and prices of energy is this thesis very actual, especially in the time of global financial crisis. Theoretical part of the work defines main historical goals in economic policy, which led to the policy of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources. Then the description of renewable and non-renewable resources fallows. Theoretical part ends with consideration of possibility, that non-renewable resources could be worked-out. In analytical part of the work is researched policy of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources. The main sort of subventions in the Czech Republic and legislature of European Union is defined. Impacts of these policies are shown on share of electricity production from renewable resources and gross domestic consumption. This research is compared with other members of European Union. The last part analyzes usability of each renewable resource in conditions of the Czech Republic. The main goal of this bachelor work is analysis of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources in the Czech Republic and eventual recommendations on improvement in these policies.

Support of film industry in the Czech Republic

In this bachelor work I'd like to focus on the reasons of support of the film industry from public sources. At first I deal with the question, whether an economic reasoning of state aid exists, or whether it's only lobbing of interest groups. Consequently I look at the process of getting subventions from State fund for support and development of the Czech cinematography. The aim of the work is to find out, whether this support brings benefits, or whether it only represents costs and tax spending. I expect the benefits to come up in form of the promotion of the Czech Republic abroad and in form of tax revenues from the film industry. I refer to reasons, why it is more advantageous to finance the cinematography from the private sector. I focus on the foreign production, for which is the Czech Republic an attractive place. I look at the possibility of investment incentives and their effect on film industry and I try to suggest how to improve current situation.

Agricultural insurance in the Czech insurance market

The bachelor thesis analyzes the agricultural insurance in the Czech insurance market. It describes the occurrence and form of the risks in agriculture and agricultural insurance as one of the ways of the protection against them. It briefly describes the development of agricultural insurance in the territory of today's Czech Republic and after that the characteristics of the crop and livestock insurance in the last ten years. Another part of the work is focused on the government subsidies on agricultural insurance operated in the Czech Republic. The largest part of this bachelor thesis is focused on describing and comparing the insurance terms and conditions of the three major insurers in the market of agricultural insurance in the Czech Republic (České pojišťovna a.s., Generali Pojišťovna a.s., Agra pojišťovna).

The analysis of the agricultural insurance in the Czech insurance market

The agricultural insurance represents a specific segment of the insurance market. It is caused by high risks in the agricultural production, low interest from insurers to provide this service and by the necessity of state subsidies. The first part of the thesis explains, how is the agricultural insurance constructed, which risks influence the agricultural production and how the state participation functions. The second part is focused on a premium written. This part includes an analysis of its development and of the position of agricultural insurance in the Czech insurance market. The last part offeres a schedule of products of agricultural production provided on the insurance market in the Czech Republic.

V práci je vystížně popsán systém státní podpory exportu. V současné době je kvalita poskytovaných služeb státem na nejvýšší úrovni. Vytvořil se jednotný systém zaměřený na růst exportu v ČR. Velkým krokem dopředu bylo zjednodušení procesu financování vývozu. Vzrostla dostupnost finančních prostředků i pro malé a střední podniky.

Outward FDI in the Czech Republic

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) is one of the most important topics for small open economies such as the Czech Republic. Inward FDI played very important role during the transition and it was probably one of the key factor which helped to succeed. There were several interesting papers written about the impact on the host economy. As the Czech economy grows, local market becomes too small for some of the Czech successful companies, which means that that outward FDI are more and more important. In this thesis, we have focused on the development of Czech outward FDI, its key determinants and structure by regions and industries. We have also compared Czech outward foreign direct investment with other countries from CEE region. Last part of the thesis is devoted to the support of Czech outward FDI from the state.

A comparison of Czech and Italian export policies

The opening chapter gives a general overwiev of Czech and Italian national economies' characteristics. The second chapter treats the system of national export assistance adopted in the Czech Republic. Consequentially, the third chapter is dedicated to the export policy of Italy. A comparison of Czech and Italian export policies from various points of view is put forth in the fourth chapter.

Analýza dobrovolného pilíře důchodového systému ČR

Diplomová práce popisuje současný důchodový systém a analyzuje jeho fondový pilíř. Zkoumá objem finančních prostředků, které proudí tímto pilířem, analyzuje rozsah státní podpory, daňové aspekty spojené s výběrem naspořených prostředků, míru bezpečí, výnosnosti a likvidity vložených peněz, a schopnost finančně zabezpečit účastníky na období poproduktivního věku. Objem finančních prostředků proudících skrz fondový pilíř je několikanásobně menší než u průběžného systému, i přes rozsáhlou státní podporu, relativně vysokou míru bezpečí a výnosnosti vložených peněz. Oba produkty tvořící doplňkový pilíř, postrádají potřebnou míru flexibility, nicméně právě díky své dlouhodobosti jsou schopny efektivně zabezpečit účastníky pro období stáří.
