Financial analysis of Karlovarské minerální vody, a.s.

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the financial condition of the company Karlovarské minerální vody, a.s. during the time period between 2007 and 2011. The work provides external view of the company and is based on the publicly available data. The work is divided into three parts, methodological , practical and one focused on description of the company. The first part describes selected indicators of financial analysis theoretically and also includes their justification. The second part focuses on the application of these financial indicators on the real company data. Computations of individual absolute, differential and ratio indicators are included as well. Moreover, this part includes pyramidal decomposition of ROE, Economic value added, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and intra-industry comparison. The work concludes with the most important results and findings of the practical part and overall evaluation of the financial situation of the company.

Financial analysis of Krakonoš spol. s r.o.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis titled "Financial analysis of Krakonoš spol. s r.o." is to assess financial health of the company during 2006 to 2010 by using a number of financial-analysis tools. These include analysis of absolute indicators, including vertical and horizontal analysis of financial statements, or quantification of Net working capital. Next there were analyzed indicators of profitability, activity, leverage and liquidity, or calculated Economic added value. There's not missing also bankruptcy and credibility models and comparison with the branch. As a result of this analysis is the fact, that the company is using very conservative management strategy. Therefore, the company's business is very little risk and the company is operating properly and safely. On the other hand, the company is not able to utilized enough its assets and therefore it should try to catch up in this count branch rivals.

This bachelor work focuses on the financial analysis of roof systems business enterprise - STAV-INVEST, střešní systémy, s.r.o. It examines the enterprise with use of analytical indicators and compares it's performance with the rest of industry. As the CEO of the company is the author's father, results are continuously underlain by specific events which have influenced them. The whole work was also confronted with the point of view of the manager.

Práce analyzuje vývoj finanční situace společnosti Vodovody a kanalizace Hradec Králové, a.s. v letech 2001 až 2006. Úvod práce náleží teoretické části, která objasňuje strukturu, postupy výpočtů a způsoby hodnocení dosažených výsledků. Následuje praktická část práce. Ta na základě provedených výpočtů hodnotí finanční zdraví a úroveň finančního řízení společnosti. Na finanční analýzu navazuje srovnání podniku s průmyslovým odvětvím. V této části dochází k porovnání a vyhodnocení finanční situace společnosti v rámci celého odvětví. Závěrem práce shrnuje zjištěné skutečnosti.
