Spectrum analyzer based on ASIC
Eliáš, Josef ; Dvořák, Vojtěch (referee) ; Pristach, Marián (advisor)
This term project is focused on a design of spectral analyzer based on fast Fourier transform. There is sigma-delta analog to digital converter realized on Department of Microelectronics as ASIC. FFT was implemented into Spartan S3 board kit. This kit is based on FPGA from Xilinx Company that provides various optimized components for his FPGA. Depending on this component was created FFT 10th order in 10 bit resolution. Results are displayed on VGA monitor.
Control Software for Analyzer HP 89410A
Cacek, Jan ; Čejka, Miloslav (referee) ; Keprt, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is bent on creation control software for spectral analyzer HP 89410A. The first part offers overview capabilities of the analyzer and principle communication over the GPIB, second part serves to presentation to the problems graphical programming method and either as manual to control software with explanation of meaning individual entries. At last third part is introduced example of validation measure for check functionality software.
Antenna for mobile high power microwave generator
Kračmar, Leoš ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mikulášek, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design and practical implementation of a magnetron connected to waveguide as an excitation source for a linear slot antenna array. The goal was thorough acquaintance with the issue of partial parts of designs, verification of calculated parameters using software simulations and practical measurements on manufactured parts of the project. In the first part of the work, it theoretically deals with used components, used parameters and by software design of a magnetron to waveguide transition model with practical measurement. The second part of the work contains calculations and simulations of the design of a linear slot antenna array, which continues by series of practical measurements of antenna properties.
Birefringence Influence on Polarization Changes and Frequency on Optical Fiber Sensors
Panascí, Marco ; Grenar, David (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with birefringence influence on polarization changes and frequency on optical fiber sensors. The objective of the thesis is to design and implement a set of measurements that analyze these effects. The theoretical part deals with analyzing the polarization-maintaning fiber, the polarization of the light, and the sensory optical fibers, with some research. The practical part deals with design of the workplace, control measurement and sensor response at different temperatures. After the practical part there is a discussion over the measured values. It was found that this sensory optical fiber responds to a change in the ambient temperature of the optical fiber. The main result is that the wavelength varies with temperature.
THD Analyzer
Ha, Tuan ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of a THD analyzer for audio frequency. In the interduction, there is a description of methods of THD calculation and realization of THD analyzer. Suitable computing platform must be chosen with capability to process audio data. The expansion board is designed for audio acquisition. Part of this design is complete program that is capable of displaying spectrum and computing THD.
Analysis of wireless transmissions in I
Hrobařová, Zuzana ; Hart, Jan (advisor) ; Hartová, Veronika (referee)
This dissertation deals with Intrusion and Hold-up Alarm System wireless communication (I&HAS). The main objective is to determine security risks of wireless communication between detectors and PBX, eventually to recommend how to avoid these risks. The research was conducted on different detector types. The first theoretical part of dissertation describes variety detector types, wireless communication types and theoretical security risks of these communications. The practical part of dissertation describes the above mentioned security risks investigated in practice as well as the measurement of communication between detectors and PBX. The recommendations how to avoid these risk are placed at the end of dissertation.

Automated system for transfer measurement of two-port blocks
Nuhlíček, Karel ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Hadinec, Michal (advisor)
This work descripes the principles of RF spektrum analyzers and generators, introduces the technical specifications of specific instruments and describes the design of computer-controlled measuring system using generator N9310A and N9320A spectrum analyzer for measuring the value of transmission of two-port blocks. The practical part is focused on the realization of the program for the operation and measurement automation allowing to set various parameters, system calibration, record, display measured values and verification functions of different equivalent circuit.
Stereo equalizer with spectrum analyzer
Náhlík, Ondřej ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s work is focused on design of ten band analog stereo equalizer, which is solved by using an active band-pass filters of 2nd order. Simulated output signal isn‘t rippled more than ± 1 dB at zero amplification and can be amplified at maximum ca. ± 8 dB. Prototype of equalizer is then built and it’s characteristics are measured. The circuit of an integrated power amplifier working in the class AB is solved in the next part of this work. Amplifier is then built and it’s characteristics are measured. In the last part of this work, there is described function of a spectral analyzer which is then designed, built and programmed. The analyzer uses the Fast Fourier transform (FFT) and resulting spectrum is displayed on a display.
Electromagnetic compatibility tests
Kolařík, Jan ; Hoder, Karel (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor project is analysis problems branch of science EMC. The bachelor project contains basic distribution field and description individual parts of the field.
