The analysis of bobsledder's two-year training preparation cycle
Dvořák, Dominik ; Hojka, Vladimír (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: The analysis of bobsledder's two-year training preparation cycle. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is the analysis and evaluation of the performance development during the two-year training cycle in bobsleigh sport. The thesis evaluates general and specific training indicators based on completed training of a bobsledder. It depicts the influence of specific training indicators on performance in both 2-men and 4-men bobsleigh starts. Methods: The thesis analyses the training diary which covers two years of preparation, including several general and specific training indicators which are selected and further evaluated. The general training indicators include the amount of training days and individual training units, the total workout time and the time spent on regeneration. Specific training indicators include factors primarily affecting bobsleigh starts. Individual specific training indicators are evaluated on the basis of their level of intensity and their overall classification into the corresponding period of the annual training cycle. Results: The reason of the performance enhancement of the bobsledder was mainly the higher amount of training completed among specific training indicators. The main training goal was the increase of the strength. This increase before the 2017/18...
Representation of selected general and specific training indicators in ATC in a selected floorball team.
Czeczinkar, Martin ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Dragounová, Zuzana (referee)
Title: Representation of selected general and specific training indicators in ATC in a selected floorball team. Objectives: Performing a literature review, focusing especially of foreign scientific articles regarding the characteristics of floorball and related fitness training. Monitoring the representation of fitness training in a selected extra-league men's team during all training periods of a chosen annual training cycle (2014/2015) using the newly introduced XPS network software. Methods: Upon completion of the literature review, research was performed by conducting the content analysis of training documents kept during the 2014/2015 annual training cycle ("ATC"). The newly created software was part of the analysis. The software was distributed for the needs of floorball practice. In order to evaluate general categories and specific training indicators, natural selection was employed. Comparison was used to assess selected indicators. In addition, physical fitness was evaluated using selected UNIFITTEST 6 - 60 tests (Měkota, Kovář, 1996); however, this type of assessment does not belong to core of this paper. Results: The results suggest that sports performance is affected, to a degree, by general training indicators such as the number of days or the total of training time. However, the most...
Analysis of a training load for 400 meter hurdles race.
Jakoubek, Jiří ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Vindušková, Jitka (referee)
Title of bachelor thesis: Analysis of a training load for 400 meter hurdles race. Elaborated: Jiri Jakoubek Supervisor: PhDr. Ales Kaplan, Ph.D. Aim of the thesis: The aim of this thesis is to elaborate content analysis of training load and to compare universal and special training indicators during two consecutive annual training cycles, specifically during the 2009 - 2010 and 2010 - 2011 annual training cycles at 400 meter hurdles race. Methodology: Data for the practical part of the thesis were obtained by using quantitative content analysis method, which means that individual special as well as universal training indicators were acquired from personal training diaries. Those indicators were then evaluated according to intensity level, rest interval and classification into periods of annual training cycle. For quantitative comparison, indicators of workload were divided into universal and special ones. Results: Very important influencing factor of performance progress at 400 meter hurdles race is increased number of stretches for most specific training indicators, especially in the endurance part. However, huge increase of workload in 2011 in this also resulted in overstrain of an athlete that is obvious from detailed analysis of individual microcycles. Training volume was emphasized during...
Analysis of training load of the peak level runner on the 400m hurdles
Šimánek, Jindřich ; Hojka, Vladimír (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Title of the thesis: Analysis of training load runner on the 400m hurdles peak level Objectives: The aim of this work is the evaluation of general and specific training indicatorsof peak level runners in 400 meters hurdles and the influence of specific training on performance indicators and performance in the 400 meter hurdles. Determining the ideal level of intensity and volume load in the annual training cycle. Another aim of the study was the comparison of performance in support events depending on the performance on the track 400 meters hurdles. Methods: Data were obtained from individual training diaries and specific training indicators were determined by the level of intensity, interval of rest and inclusion in the annual training cycle (ATC). Results: The stagnation in 2003 was due to reduction of the volume in the main indicators of specific training. Another important factor in decreased performance on the track 400 meters hurdles was due to reduced number of repetitions during training units. The changes in the distribution of specific training indicators were found in comparison of both training cycles.. In 2002, emphasis was on volume load is concentrated in the autumn part of the preparatory period and then was placed on developing speed and special endurance and there was more dynamic...
