Less usual technologies of biomass utilization

The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to elaborate less usual technologies of biomass utilization. In the first part of thesis are individual technologies described and divided. The second part of the bachelor thesis describes the concept of biomass and its specific featuress. The last part describes selected applications of less traditional technologies in the Czech Republic which produce electric power by using biomass fuel.
Integration of material and energy utilization of sewage sludge

This master thesis deals in first part with options and trends on field of municipal sewage sludge management. Further thesis describes legislation in relation with sewage sludge and its incineration in European union and also in Czech republic. Second part of thesis deals with design of mechanism for material and energetic use of sludge. In design is progressively processed chioce of aparates and material and energetic balance. This data are further used for mechine technical solution of the unit. Disposition of the unit is done acording to chosen and calculated parameter of chosen aparates. Economical evaluate of project if based on investment and operation costs and capacity design of unit in the end of thesis.
Impact of Fuel Parameters on Operating Conditions of Biomass Boiler

The aim of this thesis is to assess affect of fuel moisture like most important characteristic of biomass to combustion process and boiler operation. The theoretical part describes a fuel biomass and its monitored parameters. In experimental part is evaluation of impact monitored characteristics to combustion process.
Impact of Secondary Air Temperature on Biomass Combustion

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to make research work about the issue of biomass combustion and the experimental realization with practical verification of the effect of secondary air temperature on emmisions resulting from biomass combustion. Theoretical part describes the creation, usage and combustion of biomass focusing on combustion air. The experimental section describes the effect of the temperature of the secondary air on formation of emissions from the combustion of selected biomass type.
Grate RDF Boiler

This master's thesis deals with design of steam grade boiler for burning refuse derived fuel with power output of 70 t/h. The assignment contain a requiered steam output parameters and composition of fuel. From this composition of fuel is calculated stoichiometric calculation, the heat loss and the efficiency of boiler. After that follows a design of the boiler with closer design of each of the heating surfaces.
Heating of houses with solid fuels

Bachelor thesis deals with the ways of heating houses with solid fuels. In the first chapter is visualized preview of solid fuels suitable for application in family houses, properties of solid fuels, their structure and modifiaction to proper form for heating. In the second chapter is preview of solid fuel heating techonologies for family houses, their division, principle of operation, advantages and disadvantages of each technology. In the last chaper is economical assessment and comparison of chosen types of comustion devices aplicated on standard house, integration of devices and their operation costs.
Efficiency of the energy use of biomass

This final thesis deals with the theme of energetic usage of biomass and its energy efficiency. In the first part the term „biomass“ is explained and classified into categories. The main part of this work deals with technology converts of raw biomass into valuable energy products. The final section is closely connected with the previous part, where the emphasis is placed on energetic effiency of abovementioned technology converts.
