Bridge over the Jihlava river
Hibš, Daniel ; Klusáček, Ladislav (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a new bridge construction over the Jihlava river in Luka nad Jihlavou. The bridge is located on the road III/4044 at stationing 0,033 km. The bridge evidence number is 4044-1. Three studies were worked out in this thesis. First variant of load-bearing structure projects prestressed beams with composite slab, the next variant suggests dual girder construction and the third variant is prestressed concrete slab. The first study was selected – the bridge made of post-tensioned prefabricated beams with composited reinforced concrete slab. The calculation was carried out in the SCIA Engineer program, and selected outputs were checked by manual calculation. In addition, the time dependent analysis with construction phases was performed.
Bridge over the I/55 road and railway line
Gross, Tomáš ; Pachl, Radek (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
The main aim of the diploma thesis is a design of two bridges on D1 highway (Říkovice – Přerov). Structural system of these two bridges is a seven spans continuous beam. The bridges span the rail track and road I/35. The structural system of these two bridges is identical. The preliminary design is processed in two options. The first one considers the use of post-tensioned pre-casted beams PETRA with cast-in place cross beams and composite bridge deck. The second draft considers the use of two slab-beam with the cross beams. Effects of loads were calculated in SCIA Engineer program. The build-up phases were assessed by TDA method. The assessment of the structure was made according to EC.
Bridge over the Svratka river
Hyrš, Martin ; Neudert, Zdeněk (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with design pre-stressed road bridge over the river Svratka. There are designed 3 studies, from which variation of bridge from pre-stressed girders and coupled plate. Thesis solves construction process and static calculation includes time analysis. It is elaborated a detailed structural analysis and bridge is considered a proposal to limit states for temporary and permanent design situations according to European standards - Eurocodes. It is developed drawings and visualization of the bridge.
Nonlinear Analysis of Composite Cross-Section With Respect To Effects of Shrinkage, Creep, Ageing and Temperature
Hron, Lukáš ; Kulhavý,, Tomáš (referee) ; Čajka,, Radim (referee) ; Vráblík,, Lukáš (referee) ; Navrátil, Jaroslav (advisor)
Advanced computational methods for the analysis of building structures are used more often in engineering practice. Their use is enforced not only by the demands for aesthetics, functionality and high economy of the construction, but often directly by code provisions and requirements. Therefore, it is necessary to provide for an engineer the robust, but transparent tool, which can be used for an efficient design of structure all over it's design working life. This work deals with the creation of a computational system for time dependent analysis of concrete and composite structures. It is assumed a solid or composite concrete section with possible application of pre-tensioned and/or post-tensioned tendons. Each phase of step-by-step build composite cross-section has a general geometry. The used algorithms give us the possibility of a detailed analysis of the structure in individual construction stages, provide the designer better view on the behavior of structures with respect to concrete aging, shrinkage and creep, relaxation of prestressed tendons and provide an information on the redistribution of internal forces in the structure and in different phases of the cross-section. Stress state of the structure calculated in this way come in useful further in the design and checking of ultimate and serviceability limit states. Results of time dependent analysis are verified by manual calculations and by comparing with the results obtained by simplified methods.
Bridge over a roundel
Gross, Tomáš ; Klusáček, Ladislav (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with design construction of two new bridges over the roundabout. Roundabout is part of exit 354 of the D1 motorway. Bridges is located at kilometer 278.786 on road I /11. Three studies were developed. Design of the first study is post-tensioned prefabricated I beams, which are composite reinforced concrete slab. Design of a second study is post-tensioned slab-beam. Design of a third study is post-tensioned doublebeam. For a more detailed assessment of the study was chosen No. 1 - post-tensioned prefabricated I beams, which are composite reinforced concrete slab. Calculating the effects of the load is solved in Scia Engineer. Construction phase was carried out using TDA - temporal analysis. Testimonials are partially controlled by manual calculation.
Bridge over the Moštěnka river
Kaut, Tomáš ; Čtvrtlík, Libor (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
The content of the thesis is to solve the bridge over the Moštěnka river. It is a bridge with one field. 3 studies are designed, one of that was elaborated within the Framework of this thesis. Was selected option no. 2 concrete prefabricated T- beams with coupled concrete slab. The static´s models were created in SCIA Engineer 19.1 and IDEA StatiCa 10.1 and the reports were processed manuály, according to EC. The effects of wind, snow, acceleration and braking forces and slope of grade line have been neglected.
Plan curved structures supported by arches
Trenz, Jan ; Zich, Miloš (referee) ; Vítek,, Jan (referee) ; Stráský, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this doctoral thesis is the research of the plan curved footbridges with the deck supported by arch. The research is preceded by the survey of present findings about arch structures with upper deck. The summary of reasons and difficulties of design of plan curved structures follows. The appropriate approach for design of plan curved structure is searched on the basis of methods for design of straight structure. The design of arch which is subjected to minimal bending moments is emphasised. At first, the structure is designed in the same way as straight structure and the limit plan curvature (for which the method is not suitable anymore) is sought. Then the approach based on method of inversion of suspended cable is examined and adapted for designing of plan curved arch geometry. The approach is thoroughly analysed through calculation model and experimentally verified on physical model in scale 1:10. The process of design, construction and testing of the physical model is described in detail. Measured deformations and stresses are compared with expected behaviour based on numerical analysis. The comparison proves good correlation between calculation and measurement, as well as high load bearing capacity of the structure.
Design of steel-concrete arch structure of footbridge over the river Svratka
Vraňanová, Veronika ; Marván, David (referee) ; Nečesal, Petr (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis was to project a design of arch bridge‘s framework over the Svratka river. This single-span bridge has the span of 52,5m. The framework is constructed from a pair of beams, suspended from the pair of beams bent towards each other. The bridge deck is coupled with steel crosspieces. The construction design was executed in computing programme Dlubal RFEM 5.07. The individual components of the framework were assessed in Microsoft Excel. The calculation considered the load of wind and pedestrians’ movement and their effect on the dynamics of the construction. The phases of development were also considered. Assessments of coupled cross-section, main beams of steel construction, tension systems and selected construction joints were executed in a static calculation. Moreover, a design of a bearing and a bridge plug joint. Finally, a drawing documentation and a final report were prepared in regards with the requirements. The construction design and its assessment were executed according to valid standards.
