The use of smart drugs by college students

The bachelor thesis focuses on the use of smart drugs by university students. This phenomenon is becoming more popular in society, but it has not been properly researched and debated in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to describe experiences of smart drug use among selected university students in the Czech Republic and to understand their motivations for using them. The first part of the thesis, the theoretical part, describes what smart drugs are, what their prevalence is and how their use can be viewed through moral and social behavioural perspectives. The theoretical part also discusses how the use can be viewed as a social problem or a solution to social problems. In the second part of the thesis, the methodological part, the aims of the thesis, the research questions, the chosen research methods and the ethical aspects of the research are presented. The last part of the thesis, the analytical part, is devoted to the analysis of the collected data. The data was obtained through qualitative research conducted in the form of semi-structured interviews with nine students of Czech universities and analysed using open, axial and selective coding. The needs of women who became unintentionally pregnant: unintended pregnancy as a social problem.

Mgr. et Mgr. Denisa Krumpová Praha 2020 ETF UK Social work Abstract The bachelor thesis shows what are the needs of unintentionally pregnant women and what problems they solve. The theoretical part introduces the topic of human needs, values of life and pregnancy. The key concepts are pregnancy as a social event and an overview of the possibilities of support and help for women. The aim of the practical part is to find out the needs of unintentionally pregnant women. The qualitative research uses methods of content analysis of written texts. The main part is the analysis and interpretation of the acquired data and practical recommendations.
Debt trap: possible solutions of debt problems

The thesis "Debt trap - the possibility of resolving the debt issue " is concerned with how the public policy of the state responds to the increasing indebtedness of Czech society and that address the causes and consequences of this debt. Features a history of borrowing money and significant impact on society interest in history and in the present. It also shows what causes can lead to debt and the consequences of over-indebtedness bears. Specific cases of clients with debt issues provides a chapter on the social counseling (Občanská poradna Plzeň - Citizens Advice Bureau Plzeň), which among other increasingly engaged in consultancy in the field of debt. The main part is the analysis of public policy events - it is a holistic approach to policy examined, the selected aspects, events, actors, goals. The analysis traces the development of indebtedness of Czech citizens and state intervention and non-state actors in this issue. Also evaluates the actors in this issue shows the complexity of the process of recognition of a social problem and highlights the influence of public interest and political culture of the state in the implementation of public policy. In conclusion, given the public attitude to the issue of debt in the Czech Republic.
Cooperation between public administration and civil sector in solving social problems i areas

Thesis "Cooperation between public administration and civil sector in solving social problems in areas" discusses the possibilities and practical cooperation between the public authorities and non-profit organizations providing social services in area of Českobrodsko. The aim of the study was to determine whether in cooperation between the two organizations has been established and that the way it operates, contributes to solving social problems. The theoretical part contains information about jobs in both sectors within the system of social policy. Also maps the area of Českobrodsko in terms of conditions for cooperation in these sectors in the social field and learns what social problems must be to solve in the area. The practical part explores how specific this partnership works, what gets results and what are mutual expectations to improve it. The impact of Cause Related Marketing on the consumers in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the impact of cause related marketing campaigns on the customers in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. Within the theoretical part, the attention is paid to the determination of CRM, as well as to the CSR concept, on whose grounds CRM is based on. For the findings about the situation on the Czech market regarding CRM, chosen CRM campaigns were analyzed together with its particular campaign characteristic, which cause the campaign to be un/successful. Because commercial subjects evaluate the campaigns according to the gathered amount of money, it is difficult to find out the real impact of CRM campaigns. Therefore, the own survey became a part of the practical part of the thesis with the aim to find out this impact directly from the customers. The results were compared with the American studies and are summed up into the ideal campaign, which is introduced on the chosen bank company.
Social Problems in the Strmilov Area

The aim of this thesis is to identify social problems that appear on area Strmilovsko (including local parts) focused on issues related to views on subjects and objects of social policy. The practical outcome of this work are the results of field surveys, which will be used in the process of community planning. Another outcome is a catalogue of offers and services at leisure and social areas for selected municipalities.
Brazil: political, economic and social aspects

This thesis deals with economic, political and social aspects of Brazil. The first chapter characterizes Brazil as one of the developing centres of the world economy with emphasis on its geographical and demographic situation and on the political development from the period of colonization to the new millenium. It offers detailed analysis of the social problem as well. The second chapter is basically oriented to the characteristics of the brazil economy. It focuses especially on the structural reforms effectuated in the nineties and on the "Real Plan". The next part of the chapter deals with the description of che basic economic profile and the financial sphere of the country and offers the evaluation of the economic development in the 2007. At the end the "Growth Acceleration Program" is presented. The last chapter analyses actual situation of the brazil foreign trade and of the investment sphere, the most perspective sectors for investments, but it points out potential risks for the investors as well. In the end this chapter tries to define perspectives of the next development of the brazil economy and it's future role in the world economy.
