Firehouse
Pospíchal, Libor ; Blažková, Vendula (referee) ; Daněk, Lukáš (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is elaboration study and project documentation of new firehouse building type P in Polná. New firehouse building is designed instead of the original firehouse, which was in poor technical condition and didn’t meet the new requirements. The firehouse is situated on the plot number 91/5 with adjacent numbers 91/11, 91/10, 91/7, 91/8, 91/9, 91/6, 2684, 2693. The land is slightly sloping. The building is detached, partially basement and with three aboveground floors. The vertical load-bearing structure in the basement consists of masonry from permanent formwork and in the aboveground floors the sand-lime masonry YTONG SILKA. Horizontal load-bearing structures are designed from prestressed panels Spiroll. The roof is designed as single-skin flat roof with a poured cementitious foam layer. Firehouse consists of two parts – administrative-operational part and garage of emergency vehicles with appropriate stores. The main entrance and exit of vehicles are situated southwest. The administrative of firehouse is on the 3rd floor. Fire brigade rooms are on the 2nd floor, locker rooms with clothing stores are on the 1st floor. The technical background is designed on the underground floor. Garage parking space is situated over two floors and is roofed by flat single-skin roof. Project documentation is designed according applicable laws, decrees, regulations and technical standards.
Braking marks creation analysis in dependence of vehicle deceleration
Svoboda, Lukáš ; Panáček, Vladimír (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
The work is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The first, theoretical part is focused to introduce the problematics to the reader, describing the concept of translation motion and brake physics, defining terms adhesion and friction, skid, calculation formulas etc. After the mechanics chapter follows the chapter about tire and its composition and properties, and a brake system chapter, describing Anti-lock brake system (ABS) and some other important brake-support systems. Second part of this thesis is focused on practical side, which contains acceleration measuring and skid marks creation, followed by evaluation of measured data in form of calculations and graphs.
Firehouse
Kárníková, Iva ; Burianová, Lenka (referee) ; Kacálek, Petr (advisor)
Project documentation of new P3 type firehouse is presented in this master thesis. Firehouse’s design is in accordance with ČSN 73 5710 Požární stanice a požární zbrojnice and includes premises for: administration, teaching, day and night emergency, gymnasium, firehouse’s workshop and garrage. Its structure is made of sand-lime brickwork wall system combined with system of reinforced concrete pillars. Ceilings are designed using prestressed hollow core slabs. Firehouse is completed by external wall insulation and single-coated roof.
Design of a small multipurpose reservoir in the cadastral area Velké Albrechtice
Novák, Radomír ; Hynánková,, Eva (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
The first section of this diploma thesis pursues an algorithm design of flood wave transformation in Excel software and its application afterwards. The software is used to design a small multipurpose reservoir. The algorithm covers consumption calculations of typical dam structures such as discharge structures, sluice planks, narrowed section of discharge pipes and safety spillways. The thesis also includes a mathematical model of water infiltration into the bottom of the inundation area and through the dam body. The last section of the thesis is dealing with an aesthetic integration of the whole structure into the local environment.
Firehouse
Hladký, Adam ; Párová,, Jitka (referee) ; Rusinová, Marie (advisor)
This diploma thesis „Firehouse“ is processed in the form of design documentation for building construction. It´s a new building of firehouse, JPO IV category, P type, for firefighters of Správa železniční dopravní cesty. Object is composed from three parts - administrative and operational part, garage for fire vehicles and maintenance part. Main entrance and exits from the garages are situated on west. Administrative and operational part has two floors and it´s roofed by double-shell roofs. The garage and maintenance have one floor and they are roofed by single-shell roof. Structural system is partly masonry and partly reinforced concrete. Object is located in flat terrain in peripheral locality of the Přerov city.
Control of ABS educational model
Kubisz, Jan ; Spáčil, Tomáš (referee) ; Sova, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with renewal of education model for ABS braking simulation, determination of parameters of this model and following aplication of those parameters for simulation model compilation. Second part is to create two types of regulation with known speed of roadway and with unknown speed of roadway. Created regulators are then tested on real system to verify their funcionality.
Design of a test condition for determining the wear at the contact of a railway wheel and rail
Rec, Matouš ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of a wear of a railway wheel and a rail. The wear of the components depends on a number of parameters including the contact stress, the contact pressure and the contact surface dimensions. Among the factors determining these parameters belongs primarily the wheel driving gauge, the rail profile and the load of the contact area. Furthermore, the material from which the wheels and rail are made, the roughness and hardness of the functional surfaces and the residual stress in the material have a significant impact on the wear. All the parameters mentioned above are designed for the production of the railway wheels and rails and therefore they meet the standards for the production of these components. However, the existence of the changeable parameters has also a significant impact on the wear. These parameters include the presence of contaminants, or lubricants in contact, the changing driving gauge due to the wear, the slip ratio or the friction coefficient. With the wear being an inevitable process during the application it cannot be eliminated but only controlled. Applying the lubricant into the contact when passing through the arc in order to achieve an ideal coefficient or the maintenance grinding for restoring the driving gauge can serve the purpose. If properly optimized, the importance of the wear research lies in the financial savings. Being the crucial factor for optimization of the intervals between the maintenance grinding, the research is also beneficial. A high-quality wear prediction can be seen as the key field in order to increase the safety of the railway vehicles operation as well. Therefore, the wear research is made using several methods, such as the computational models, the multi-body dynamics software and the technical experiments. This thesis introduces a conceptual design of the test, enabling the wear research via experimental approach. The final device is capable of a simulation of both volume and fatigue wear during the states the railway wheel and railway undergo including riding on the straight track, passing through an arc or a wheel slip during braking.
