Simulation of Traffic on Roads and Highways
Zajdák, Jiří ; Vícha, Karel (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with a simulation of traffic on roads and highways. The thesis analyzes important concepts of road traffic law and their relation to simulation system. Further are here described problems of design and creation of traffic network which simulator uses. Work explains principles of models of behaviour of traffic participants which are extensible by force of plug-ins. The thesis also valorizes how many details is advisable to model the reality in particular parts of simulating system.
Evaluation of the status and changes the availability of the primary health care of Czechia in GIS
Hořínek, Jan ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Brůha, Lukáš (referee)
This work is focused on evaluation the status and changes in the availability of primary health care in the Czech Republic. Primary health care in this case is divided into four groups according to specialty and surveyed the availability of the population from the whole republic to these doctors and at the same time the validity of the law which sets the availability of primary health care within 35 minutes. In the first part, individual theoretical parts, which are related to the topic and content of the work, are analysed. The next section describes the collection of used data. Another methodical part deals with data editing and processing. The last part contains the results and the evaluation which are illustrated in graphs as well as described. The graphical output is composed of maps (attachment) that show the local availability of the population to primary health care. The results provide not only the current state of primary health care, but also some estimates, how local availability can evolve over the coming years. The overall results are summarized in the conclusion. Keywords: primary health care, accessibility, network analysis, road network, GIS
Evaluation of accessibility of the health care of Czechia on the example of cardiology
Černický, David ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Novák, Martin (referee)
This thesis deals with evaluation of time accessibility by individual car transport. Due to government regulations the time to access the cardiology ambulant care has to be 60 minutes. The first part of thesis pursues on graph theory, especially in context of network analysis and also accessibility and its technical aspect. Second part deals with data editing and solves average speeds on Czech roads, which is based on professional literature and on own research and testing. In a practical part, there is a described process of creating the Network Dataset and creation of Service Area. Output of these tools is set of maps highlighting regions of Czechia, which have lack of access to cardiology ambulant care. There were also highlighted regions, which are threatened by future lack of access to cardiology ambulant care, when doctor who are above 65 years old, will end their work activities. Discussion is focused of relevancy of results and its usability. In conclusion the results are summarized. Key words: Network analysis, accessibility, health care, GIS, road network, average speed

The analysis of road and highway network development in 20th century decades using GIS Abstract The goal of this work is to review the progression of road network during 20th century together with creating of vector layers for each year. In opening part the background research is made. It refers to historical roads development in Czech republic and to GIS tools, which have been used. Textual description of road network development is part of the work together with maps supplement, illustrating contemporary situation. Digital geodatabases are the important output of this work. Keywords: road network, highway development, digital geodatabase
Utilization of ALS data for update of a road network
Kutišová, Tereza ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Brůha, Lukáš (referee)
Utilization of ALS data for update of a road network Abstract My thesis concerned problematics of automatic detection of communication data from aerial laser scanning. Goal of this method is to identify area of roads - tarmacs as accurate as possible. On its basis are counted attributes of specific parts. In first part of the thesis are summarized known procedures, which are used to deal with the issue and experiences and evaluation of the output of theirs authors. In practical part of the thesis is described procedure methodology, which is based on findings from the literature review. Subsequently, input data and model areas are introduced. In the final parts are described results and compared with the results of authors, who used such evaluation in their work. Key words: airborne laser scanning, digital topographic database, road network, database update

Mattern, Tomáš ; Hudeček, Tomáš (referee) ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor)
Analysis of the accessibility of elementary schools in the Czech Republic since 1961 Abstract The aim of this paper is to analyze the development of accessibility to elementary schools in the Czech Republic since 1961 by the personal car transport using network analysis. In addition, the paper also evaluates the development to elementary schools by public transport. The first part summarizes the available literature about those issues. The second part presents the source data and analysis metodology. Most of the analysis is performed by GIS ArcGIS 9.3. The last part presents the analysis results. It was found that the accessibility of complete elementary schools has improved in the period and the accessibility of all elementary schools has deteriorated. This applies to the accessibility by personal car transport and by public transport.
