Space management of a retail

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the space management of a selected retail unit, which is Billa supermarket in České Budějovice, and propose changes interpreted through the new model. The theoretical part is devoted to the literature. This section discusses the areas of space management, merchandising, which include mainly location of goods and sales promotion. Business range, layout, shopping behaviour and habits, types of consumers and marketing research ale also described. The second part is practical. The space management of the selected retail unit is analyzed and evaluated on the basis of a questionnaire. Recommendations for optimal space management, which is based on acquired customer requirements, are also provided. The thesis compares the current state of space management with final state designed on the basis of marketing research results.

The aim of the diploma thesis on topic ?The shopping behaviour and attitude of customers in the chosen retail unit? was the evaluation of shopping behaviour of customers and their attitude and suggestion of some improvement. The Literature search was writen on the basis of information from the available technical literature. This part contains information concerning customer and his attitudes, needs, behaviour and decision. Further there is an explanation of concept of shopping behaviour, its types and approches. The practical part contains information obtained from research and from interview made with the assistent of retail unit. These information served to evaluation of established hypothesis and to determination of concrete suggestions concerning improvement of range, employes, parking sites and checkouts.
Attitudes and buying behaviour of customers of a shopping center

The theme of my graduation thesis was "Attitudes and buying behaviour of customers of a shopping center". The object that I have explore was the shopping center Tesco Pisek. Marketers must be able to survive on the market competition, so they must know their own consumers. It is important to know the consumer behaviour, to know what is importent for consumers and it is also important to know the consumer knowledge of diferent products. This topic has me interested because of the most important timeliness. To get all those information I must do marketing research, these results was evaluated in this graduation thesis.

The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis is focused on meaning of the shopping behaviour particularly on the predispositions and the buyer decision process. These factors create the black box of buyer in general. On the basis of the available secondary data and observation are analysed in the practical part of the thesis the general differences of men and women, the differences in shopping in the supermarket or on the internet as well. The thesis also involves a marketing research, which was realized with the help of questionare. The questionare inquire into the differences in shopping behaviour of men and women in the czech retail electro-marketplace. In the end was effected the mystery shopping.
The analysis of shopping conditions and consumer behaviour in a particular city

This thesis deals with shopping conditions in the city of Louny and analysis of shopping behaviour of consumers buying grocery in retail stores located in Louny. In theoretical part of the thesis there is described retail network, business facilities of the city and different types of retail units. Further, the thesis deals with factors influencing shopping behaviour of consumers and summarizes current trends in consumer's behaviour in the Czech Republic. Practical part of thesis focuses on describing retail units in Louny and interpreting results of research concerning behaviour of consumers in Louny. Finally, the data from research are compared with the Czech trends of shopping behaviour.
Marketing research for a chosen company

The topic of this diploma thesis was: Consumer marketing research for a chosen company. The research was done for the supermarket Albert. The aim of my thesis was to find out how opening of the commercial - traffic centre ``Mercury centrum{\crqq} has influenced shopping decisions and customer behaviour with respect to the supermarket Albert and, eventually, to propose a solution. I tried to analyse the marketing research process in detail in the theoretical part of my thesis. I tried to analyse the individual steps in detail and I followed these theoretical rules when working up the practical part of this thesis. Further, I dealt with the issue of shopping behaviour and consumers{\crq} decision-making process. In the practical part of this thesis I investigated shopping behaviour of both current and potential customers of the supermarket Albert using the marketing research. In order to acquire necessary information I decided for a personal attitude through questioning as it is supposed to be the most universal way of questioning. Randomly stopped people who went down the Lannova třída answered the questionnaires. I used computer software Microsoft Excel and Statistica 6.0 for evaluating the collected data. After evaluation of the gained data, I tried to propose some solutions that might lead to re-increase in revenues of this supermarket. Predominately I proposed steps that should make the current customers do their shopping more frequently and on a larger scale. Moreover, I believe that the supermarket Albert should try to lure new customers especially of the ranks of the students of the Faculty of Education.
Analysis of the Consumers' Behaviour in Selected Store in the Town of Orlová

The thesis deals with competitive environment and analyses shopping behaviour of the customers in the Coop Tip store in the town of Orlová. First part describes the retail network of the city and also the store itself. Then is the attention paid to the comparsion with its biggest competitor through the prices of consumer basket.In the main part follows the analysis of consumers'behaviour itself on the basis of data obtained by the polling in the store. And finally there are proposed some marketing recommendations on the grounds of the analysis's results.

This thesis deals with shopping conditions and analysis of shopping behaviour of food store's consumers in the city Žďár nad Sázavou. The thesis describes theoretically and practically the retail network of the city. Then the work focuses on influences that effect the buying behaviour and defines the current retail trend in the Czech Republic. Further, the thesis continues with a research applied on consumers. Finally, the data are compiled from the questionnaire and compared together with respect to available market trends.

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic Music in commercial environment, its influence on psyche and shopping behaviour of human. The goal of this thesis is to characterize the position of music in commercial environment, state present and future opportunities how to use music in this environment and also to find the influence of music on human and its behaviour. The first chapter states that the music can really influence human and its perception of things. Music can influence human mood, feelings, perception of environment and product and it can affect also human behaviour and performance. Second chapter lists theories which explain the influence of music and the schemes of the influencing process on human. These theories are in the third chapter connected with the real influence on human behaviour and demonstrated on performed experiments. In the fourth chapter there are named present and future trends concerning music in commercial environment, for instance ambient music, sonic branding, and sensory merchandising. The fifth chapter deals with problem concerning ethical and health aspects, because music in commercial environment influences human subconsciously. Last chapter tries to evaluate the development of music in commercial environment in the future. Music is very important part of commercial environment, which offers a lot of opportunities for the future. Unfortunately, the potential of music is currently being underestimated. With help of music can be influenced not only a mental but also a physical part of human personality and also shopping decision-taking and shopping behaviour.
