The production of a gully
Králíček, Václav ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
Aim of the thesis is possible innovation in production of a body of floor gully. Material of the gully is an austenitic stainless steel 1.4301 (X5CrNi18-10). This particular gully belongs to floor drainage portfolio of ACO Industries k.s., which is a world leading company in drainage systems. The current welded variant has been replaced by a combination of conventional drawing and dimpling. The geometry of the drain bottom was designed in accordance with the requirements of the ČSN EN ISO 14159 standard and EHEDG documents on the hygiene of equipment for use in the food industry. Technological calculations were made for the new designed geometry, the bottom of the inlet will be made in one drawing operation together with the dimpling of the pre-made hole. The production process was verified using numerical simulation. Part of the solution was the production of a prototype for testing of the flow rate. During the flow rate test, the requirements given by the standard were fulfilled. Combined tool for drawing and dimpling was designed. The tool is designed for use in hydraulic press Dieffenbacher PO250 II with magnetic tool clamping. The financial savings compared to the current floor drain design are about 243,43 CZK. With a specified production series of 700 pieces per year with an expected increase of 15 % in the following years, the return on investment for the purchase of the tool was calculated to be 2,65 years.
Production of components deep forming
Stloukal, Mojmír ; Benč, Marek (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a research study addressing the issues of deep drawing parts with wide flanges. This work includes the process and technological calculations for drawing rotational parts without flanges and the differences in the technological process for producing parts with wide flanges. Furthermore, the utilization of parts with wide flanges in practical applications is summarized.
Proposal warehouse in engineering company
Rada, Tomáš ; Strejček, Jan (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is dealing with a proposal metal sheet warehouse in an engineering company. At first a research of storage and supply management has been carried. After that a storage capacity has been calculated and a warehouse layout solution has been proposed. Two variants of the solution have been proposed: cantilever racks and an automated vertical storage system, each with a layout drawing. Both variants have been evaluated and compared in terms of purchase costs and technical possibilities and advantages.
Tools for the Punching Process
Jelínek, Daniel ; Šrajer, Jan (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
Elaborated project is focused on the study of die cutting/punching technology and its aim is research and comparison of machines and principles used, given to the processed material. Within the project, differences between two types of tools used are compared, namely for die cutting of cardboard sheets and punching of metal sheets. The project also includes a design of die cutting tool for pharmaceutical folding boxes with complete stripping tool and counter plate on automated die cutting press Bobst SPanthera 106 LE.
Manufacturing of the Wall Bracket Bicycle
Sikora, Marek ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
This master’s thesis presents a proposal for the technology of manufacturing sheet metal part, which is a part of a bicycle wall bracket. The component is made of steel sheet ČSN 11 325 with subsequent surface treatment by galvanizing. Due to the chosen method of manufacturing with a progressive stamping die, the research part is focused on the technology of shearing and bending. Technological calculations were performed for the most suitable production variant, on the basis of which a mechanical press ANDRITZ Metals with the designation KSTU 2000-20-4G-PSE was chosen. Furthermore, the design of the tool itself is presented, which is substantiated by drawing documentation. At the end of the work, a technical and economic evaluation of the produced series of 300 000 workpieces per year is calculated.
The analisys of possibility laser cutting
Plevka, Vojtěch ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with application of lasers in manufacturing, mainly with the technology of cutting material. This technology is compared with the technology of punching and cutting sheet metal, with the aid of control specimens. The parameters of surface structure, dimension accuracy and appearance of cut-ting surfaces are compared. By consensus of results the recommendation for practical realization was created.
Proposal warehouse in engineering company
Švec, Michal ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a suggestion of warehouse in engineering factory that occures with processing of metal plates. First part of thesis is focused to studies about storage of the goods, logistic technology and to manipulation and ways how to storage metal plates. The second part contains of suggestion of storage in given conditions, technological evaluation of suggested variants and economical studies of payback period of investition to crane technology. The suggestion of the storage is completed with drawing documentation three variants of solutions.
The manufacturing of coating metal sheet part
Sykáček, Jiří ; Hušek, Martin (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
SYKÁČEK Jiří: Production of a sheet metal part with a surface finish This project, elaborated as a part of my B2307 bachelor studies, has been compiled on the basis of a customer requirement to produce a battery cover exposed to an increased corrosion risk. It deals with the production technology of the part using various sheet metal materials of different surface finish. The most suitable solution has been found in using a cutting and a bending press. The chosen production method has been evaluated with regard to technological difficulties connected to processing thus modified sheet metal as well as with regard to economical cost of the production. Forming processes have been executed using a TRUMPF TC200R cutting press, having a nominal shearing force of 165 kN, and URSVIKEN Optiflex bending press, having a nominal pressing force of 1300 kN. Forming tools are optimally chosen according to the parameters of individual types of sheet metal. At the end the project evaluated the most convenient material to produce this part.
Modern forming technology in engineering
Čajan, Tomáš ; Schwarzer, Emil (referee) ; Dvořák, Milan (advisor)
Focus of this thesis lays on modern forming technology in engineering, especially technologies used for press joining of sheet metal. It also deals with modern technology in welding and adhesive bonding and contains literary study of these technologies with further comparison of their advantages and disadvantages.
Manufacturing of the Body Part of an RC Helicopter
Kománek, Michal ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the production of manufacturing of the body part of an RC helicopter, made from aluminium sheet with a thickness of 1 mm. Set production series is 200 000 pieces per year. After researching suitable production methods, the technology of progressive stamping was chosen. Based on theoretical knowledge has been design a production plan with the highest productivity. Technological and design calculations serving as a basis for tools and press selection are also an essential part.
