Design of the single span bridge in Vražné
Juřenčáková, Jana ; Svoboda, Adam (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The subject of bachelor thesis is a design of single span bridge in Vražné. Within the scope of thesis there are three studies of bridge. Cast-in-place concrete slab super structure was found appropriate and further calculations were assessed. Length of span is 15,00 m. Internal forces were provided by SCIA Engineer and checked with manual calculation. The supporting structure was assessed for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. Calculations were made according to valid standards and regulations.
Utilization of inverse reliability analysis tools for probability based design of selected structural parameters
Lipowczan, Martin ; Novák, Drahomír (referee) ; Lehký, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the application of methodology and tools of inverse analysis in regards to probabilistic design of selected design parameters of structure. The first step was to get familiar with the probabilistic design and analysis, then understanding of the inverse analysis methodology itself which is based on artificial neural networks. After researching the topic we could get to the actual issue. To put the theory in practice easier examples were used at first. These were mathematical functions and one practical-based example, whereas the results were known in advance. This simplified a process of checking achieved values. Using software tools and especially DLNNET software allowed us to take on practical exercises. Used exercises are chosen from earlier undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno. The first of these was a design of reinforced concrete slab, where desired parameters were slab’s height and area of reinforcement. The second one was a design of a diagonal truss screw connection, aimed to size the screw diameter and its quantity.
Design of the bridge structure across the street
Váša, Jiří ; Pinkas, Karel (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of the motorway bridge over the II / 464 road between Butovice-Bílovec. For the bridging design four variants were made, from which a variant of the slab with longitudinal extensions was selected for further processing. The design assessment was performed for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state according to valid standards. Determination of internal forces was performed on the model developed in Scia Engineer 18.0.
Stress, deformation and safety analysis of the generator stator loaded by nonhomogeneous temperature
Majdič, Petr ; Dobeš, Martin (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with stress, strain and reliability analysis of synchronous generator stator including an inhomogeneous temperature field. Using the finite element method, stress and strain are calculated, and from these values safety against yield strength is determined, which is followed by the life calculation of the most stressed weld joint and the determination of its possible damage during the period required by the customer.
Reinforced concrete structure of a multifunction building
Pohl, Martin ; Buřič, Pavel (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with structural solution of the reinforced structures of the polyfunctional building. The structure is designed and assessed for for ultimate limit state in accordance with ČSN EN 1992-1-1: Design of concrete structures – Part 1-1: General rules and rules for buildings.
Reconstruction of the Bridge over the River Moravice
Čtvrtlík, Libor ; Svoboda, Adam (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was designing new loadbearing structure for existing bridge conctruction. From three possible options was selected one, which represents cast-in-place prestressed concrete slab. Design procedures and assessments were performed to comply with the ultimate and serviceability limit state according to valid European standards. The calculation was performed in software SCIA Engineer 17.1 that was partly checked by hand-done calculation. The part of this thesis is also enclosed drawings and visualizations.
Design of a one-span frame bridge
Ondrůšková, Kamila ; Panáček, Josef (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of reinforced concrete bridge in one field. From three options, there was chosen a frame construction with the reciprocal haunches for the calculation. In individual chapters, there is described the way of design and assessment. The first chapter is focused on study of the bridge design. In other chapters, there is the describtion of load and combination. Final chapters are devoted to the assessment of construction to ultimate and serviceability limit state.
The storage hall in Olomouc
Balhar, Martin ; Sýkora, Karel (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and static assessment umbrella structure warehouse in Manchester. The hall has a footprint of 60x30 rectangular shape. The hall is designed in three variants. Option 1 is lattice girder from steel S355, Option 2 is a solid panel truss of steel S355 and the last option is the lattice truss steel S235. The roof is gabled with a skylight in the middle. Roof slope is 3%. Static analysis calculation is performed in the student version of Scia Engineer 2015.2.
Reconstruction of the concrete bridge in Raškovice
Muroň, Vlastimil ; Pinkas, Karel (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was designing reconstruction of old beam bridge in Raškovice. Unfortunately the documentation wasn't preserved, it was necessary to estimate reinforcement according to the standard ČSN 1230-1937, according which the bridge was designed. The structure was reinforced with a new composite plate and post-tensioning. Design procedures and assessments were performed in accordance with ultimate and serviceability limit state according to valid European standards. Calculation was performed in the SCIA Engineer 19.1. program on beam model of one beam. The thesis include necessary drawings.
Single span pedestrian bridge
Rataj, Tomáš ; Nečas, Radim (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the design of a single-span footbridge. Within the thesis, two variants were proposed and compared, and a simply supported pre-stressed structure was selected. This particular variant was further analyzed and evaluated for ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. The calculations were performed using the SCIA Engineer and MS Excel software, supplemented with manual calculations. The calculation procedure followed applicable standards and regulations.
