Design of Low-Pressure Piston Rheometer
Lán, Radek ; Strecker, Zbyněk (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis is focused in design of Low-Pressure Piston Rheometer intended for experimental identifying of magneto-rheologic (MR) liquid properties at long-term load. MR liquid is briefly introduced in the initial part of the thesis. There follows a search related to way of liquids properties measurement and overview of MR dampers which are close to piston rheometers by their construction. MR dampers with through piston-rod have been emphasised. The second part of the thesis is focused on calculation of magnetic circuit of the rheometer throttle leak. The rheometer is designed in the last part of the thesis.
Hydraulic Damper in Means of Transport and Other Applications
Vrba, Michal ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis pursues the topic of the design of hydraulic shock absorbers in vehicles and other applications. Differences in the design of individual applications have been described. Last but not least, possible future trends concerning hydraulic shock absorbers were characterized.
Vehicle Semi-active Damper Unit
Odstrčil, Aleš ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of semi-active damping and its use in trucks. The first part of this thesis deals with a research of existing damping systems, especially for trucks. Subsequently, different ways of damping control are compared. After this analysis, two versions of the conversion of the series dumper to semi-active were created. At the end of this work, both versions are compared.
Integration of stroke sensor into the front bike fork
Pešout, Richard ; Jeniš, Filip (referee) ; Strecker, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of the installation of the iC-MHL200 sensor in the front suspension fork of a bike, where it will measure the stroke in order to control a magnetorological damper. The thesis first describes selected suspension systems, currently available systems enabling the measurement of bike fork lift and the iC-MHL200 sensor itself. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the design and production of a test holder, the sensor test and its results. Using the results, the installation design itself was subsequently created. During the design, it was necessary to overcome several obstacles, which was achieved with certain compromises and the goal of the thesis was fulfilled. This installation will allow further, more accurate testing of the sensor and later also the control of MR dampers with an affordable but accurate sensor.
