Education Computer Program for Demonstration of 2D Entity Trimming and 2D Closed Regions Filling
Novotná, Lenka ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Štancl, Vít (advisor)
This bachelor`s thesis is focusing on concept and developement of educational computer program for demonstration of 2D entity trimming and 2D closed regions filling. The characteristics and mutual differences of all important algorithms are described here. The aplication was designed to ilustrate their differences and to make understandig of this topic easier for future users.
Application interface for handling graphics in VHDL language
Vlček, Petr ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is creating interface for the picture generator. The interface generates a VGA signal with possibility of 4bit color depth. The interface controls two chips of one port SRAM IS61 witch is supplied with Digilent Spartan-3 Starter Kit Board and comunicates trought FIFO blocks based on the shift register principle. Graphics interface generates lines and secondary forms, circles and secondary forms, fills area up and controles 2D transformations of picture.
Automatic Text Recognition for Robots
Hartman, Zdeněk ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describe module design for text detection and recognition for use in robotic systems. To detect charters is used Stroke Width transform, which is applied on the input edge image. In the output image after Stroke Width transform are found connected components. For letter grouping into a words is used Hough transform, which is applied on the created binary image. This image contains points, which corresponding positions of found connected components. To recognize signs in detected areas is used Tesseract library. Before recognition detected areas are extracted and rotated into a horizontal position. This proposed detector can detect even rotated text.  Accuracy of detection of the text is 75% above the test set "informační tabule".
Rain Prediction Using Meteo-Radar
Gerych, Petr ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This paper deal with the rain prediction in the short time interval. The static pictures from meteo-radar serves as input data. The principle of meteo-radar is explained. The possible methods of the object detection and registration, motion interpolation and extrapolation is described. The flood fill algorithm and Lagrange extrapolation is applied to rain prediction. Application is written in C++ language under OS Linux. The example of the software application results is included.
Demonstration Application of Algorithms for Closed Areas Filling in 2D
Hort, Pavel ; Šilhavá, Jana (referee) ; Venera, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes methods used for filling closed areas in 2D. This text describes the most frequently used algorithms for this task. The first part of thesis describes both the main groups, vector algorithms and raster algorithms. Positives and negatives of these algorithms are described. For few of these algorithms is also mentioned how to optimize this algorithms or how to implement them using a different way. Next part of this text describes implementation of these algorithms for purpose of tracing them into. Last part of this text describes classes used in application. Also graphic user interface is described here.
