Statistic evaluation of phylogeny of biological sequences
Vadják, Šimon ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Škutková, Helena (advisor)
The master's thesis provides a comprehensive overview of resampling methods for testing the correctness topology of the phylogenetic trees which estimate the process of phylogeny on the bases of biological sequences similarity. We focused on the possibility of errors creation in this estimate and the possibility of their removal and detection. These methods were implemented in Matlab for Bootstrapping, jackknifing, OTU jackknifing and PTP test (Permutation tail probability). The work aims to test their applicability to various biological sequences and also to assess the impact of the choice of input analysis parameters on the results of these statistical tests.
Fundamental Share Analysis of Selected European Energy Companies
Syslová, Kateřina ; ŠIRŮČEK,, Martin (referee) ; Rejnuš, Oldřich (advisor)
The thesis is focused on fundamental stock analysis of selected European energy companies. The highest attention is paid to global, sectoral and company analysis. Following intercompany comparisons are based on the results from the listed analysis. The thesis is aimed to help potential investors to choose the most effective investment from various energy companies.
Clustering of Protein Sequences Based on Primary Structure of Proteins
Jurásek, Petr ; Stryka, Lukáš (referee) ; Burgetová, Ivana (advisor)
This master's thesis consider clustering of protein sequences based on primary structure of proteins. Studies the protein sequences from they primary structure. Describes methods for similarities in the amino acid sequences of proteins, cluster analysis and clustering algorithms. This thesis presents concept of distance function based on similarity of protein sequences and implements clustering algorithms ANGES, k-means, k-medoids in Python programming language.
Software Projects Risk Management Support Tool
Fundamental Share Analysis of Selected European Chemical Companies
Kabáč, Ľudovít ; Vajner, Leoš (referee) ; Rejnuš, Oldřich (advisor)
The thesis deals with the evaluation of investments in company shares. It analyzes internal and external surroundings of the selected enterprises and it describes historical development of their ordinary shares. It further deals with the particular comparison of selected investment opportunities in order to find most preferably one. The thesis should enable potential investor to orientate in the investment field
