This Master's thesis deals with intelligent installation systems, focused on lighting systems using the DALI bus system. Theoretical part of this work includes a list of currently available intelligent installation systems and its use in both households and industrial buildings. A summarizing description of KNX and DALI bus systems and their actuators and actuating units are a part of this paper. The practical part proposes two examplary boards designed for laboratories of UEEN VUT in Brno and describes its construction, as well as the programs necessary for its programming, control and monitoring. The outcome of this Master's thesis is a survey of possible remote control of DALI bus system's actuators and mutual compatibility of KNX and DALI bus systems. Furthermore, this paper includes background material for laboratory task, based on data found about remote control and DALI bus system's monitoring.
Electrical installation of multifunctional house using intelligent control
Kroutil, Roman ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is the theoretical clarification of the issue of intelligent electrical installations, electro project documentation creation and a specific development project, smart wiring. The work consists of three parts. In the first part the reader is becoming familiar with the power distribution problems and subsequently in details with the issue of intelligent electrical installations. This thesis describes the development, standards and use of the intelligent systems. There is also a description of the various manufacturers and their systems, which are widespread in the Czech Republic, followed by comparing them according to selected criteria and finally the advantages and disadvantages are compared to the traditional smart wiring. Another part deals with the principles and methods of making electrical projects. There are all part of the project documentation procedure for their creation, the principles to be observed, and the most important and most relevant standards, laws and regulations relating to the right wiring are given. The last part is completely processed wiring project using intelligent control. The project consists of all the elements needed for building management, which are drawings of floor plans of all floors of the building, all switchboards schemes, scheme and system power distribution, inventory of material used and the technical report.
Implementation project of electrical installation for family house
Al-Farra, Mohammed Hashim ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
Today, more and more homes and other buildings are equipped with intelligent applications and are remote-controlled through a PC, smartphone or tablet. Within a couple of years, almost any new construction – from villa to apartment, school to office, store to care center – will be equipped with intelligent systems, So I will be talking about the characteristics, advantages and where and when can we or should we consider using intelligent electrical installations and how can we accept it to be more valid choice for our future buildings. Furthermore, I’ll be presenting a couple of examples of electrical installations where you will see an example of how can we make an evaluation for this design, but nevertheless, all the projects and the design should be done under the Czech Norms and Standards and it should follow the Czech regulations in order for it to be a doable project, so I’ll be talking about those norms and standards before I discuss the installation and the design themselves.
INELS as control system for house wiring
Baudyš, Adam ; Šlezingr, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the theme the intelligent systems INELS. Intelligent sys-tem is such system whose functions are based on the conditions, so we could say that its be-haviour is/ or is approaching to be intelligent. Work further deals with the fundamental ele-ments of systems which have same or similar basic functions in all systems and they differ in communication protocol and additional functions. Onward there are described topologies of connection and their elemental characteristics. After short acquaint, work deals with the intel-ligent bus systems INELS produced by the company ELKO EP s.r.o. and compares it with systems EGO-N and KNX produced by the company ABB s.r.o. Subsequently work describes laboratory device in which INELS system is used for presentation of the intelligent bus systems. It presents and describes basic information about used elements in said panel. Next is described laboratory task in which is used mentioned laboratory element. To secure quality and contributing two laboratory works, manuals were created for students, familiarizing them with the basic control of intelligent systems INELS with the help of two illustration models.
Remote control and visualization of bus-systems KNX and DALI for building management
Holub, Jiří ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The thesis is focused on bus systems and their control by GUI. Basic energy management principles and the mostly known bus systems are analysed in the first – theoretical part of the paper. The theoretical part is then focused on software tool ETS 4, which is used for activation of system installation KNX. Software tool SmartServer, which is used for communication between bus system KNX and web interface, is described at the end of the first theoretical part. Two laboratory boards assembled of KNX and DALI parts were constructed in the second – practical part. Three laboratory tasks, which are prepared so they are related to theoretical description in previous part, were submitted in next step. Aim of the first task is to introduce basics of the board and PriOn interface. The second task is focused on DALI components and temperature control with PriOn regulating device. Creating of basic visualization and controlling of the board with SmartServer is described in the last task.
