Business Plan – Establishing a Salon for The Sale or Rental of Wedding and Ball Gowns

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to develop a business plan for the establishment and operation of a salon with the possibility of buying or renting wedding and ball gowns. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part contains basic concepts related to the business plan, its types, structure and principles of assembly. In the practical part, I deal with the processing of a specific business plan for the establishment of a salon and the determination of its feasibility.
Comparative analysis of the national newspaper supplements Salon, Kavarna and Orientace

Diploma thesis "Comparison analyses of national newspaper supplements Salon, Kavarna and Orientace" analyses supplements of national, daily released newspapers: Pravo (Salon), Mlada fronta DNES (Kavarna) and Lidove noviny (Orientace). Essential methods used in this work are quantitative analysis, applied to specified moths during years 2006-2008, and chronological analysis of chosen issues during years 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2005. Based on them, various evaluations of supplement main characteristics, specific features and differences were observed. Most important characteristics investigated in the work are: supplement content and graphic conception, placement within the carrying newspaper, structure of published literature forms, themes and sub-themes. There can be also found summary of each supplement history, list of its typical authors and internet version description. Author of this thesis also introduced related overview of Czech literary and cultural magazines (Literarni noviny, Host, Divoke vino, Revolver Revue, Tvar nebo A2) and briefly stated profiles of main national newspapers. To gain supplement readers characteristics, approximate sociological questionnaire was processed among university students.

1 Abstract The thesis "The image of a woman in the press at interwar Czechoslovakia" deals with the visual presentation of a woman who was an integral part of the First Republic press. The thesis attempts to provide an analysis of selected periodicals (magazines especially for women) in terms of the depiction of women. The thesis surveys the changes in society and lifestyle in this epoch of our history which complements the cultural-historical background of the time and familiarity with contemporary press. The thesis focuses primarily on issues of women's emancipation, which were at that time very current and projected also into all areas of the art. Emancipation influenced significantly the whole Czech artistic creation. We can find some evidence especially in the press, which also mediated the reflection of period. The thesis focuses only on the most important press at these times with regard to its scope. Eva revue was especially important for emancipatory efforts and is compared here with men's magazine Gentleman and avant-garde magazine ReD. The main part of the thesis focuses on the actual image of women, generally and in specific cases. The present Master's thesis deals with the business plan for a small profit company. The first part is devoted to theoretical elaboration of the guiding principles of the business plan and serves the fundamentals for its further practical application to the specific project for the start of enterpreneurship. External surroundings, including the essential aspects important in the cosmetics industry are described in the second part. It will offer a draft plan for the internal purposes of the company.
The Image of the Burgher from Prague Johanna Barbora Englová, Born Zimmerová through the Family correspondence in the 19 th century

The thesis is entitled "The Image of the Burgher from Prague Johanna Barbora Englová, Born Zimmerová through the Family correspondence in the 19 th century" and it presents J. B. Englova´s destiny (18101874) on the basis of both correspondence and some ego-documents analysis. She was Emanuel Engl´s mother (18441907) who was an early Czech politician. Thanks to her, even the Prague civic society can be observed. The thesis is divided into five main chapters. At first, the life within the House of Habsburg monarchy in the 19 th century is described. Afterwards, the thesis is being focused on the situation in Prague, the civic society and its possibilities as for the social life. The second chapter pursues Johanna Englova´s family life. The third chapter is the crucial one it presents social connections which Johanna Barbora Englová made throughout her life and which can be observed within the well-preserved correspondence. The last chapter presents the salon, balls and the society as a part of Johanna Englova´s life. The thesis is trying to present contacts, relationships and social situation on the given example of both former and new family of Johanna Barbora Englová. The part of the thesis consists of an all round analysis of chosen sources. Moreover, the thesis reflects a social upswing of Johanna Barbora Englová and the process of becoming a part of the civic smart set in Prague. The thesis is followed by the list of sources, bibliography and online sources. The diagram, table, genealogy and the part with visual materials are listed in the annexe.
The women of the bohemian politicians in the 19th century

The women of the bohemian politicians in the 19th century Annotation I have chosen ten women of the bohemian politics living in the 19th century. The first chapter has been about the reasons for choice of the life female partner. I have described the social, lingual and religious background of these women. I have tried to analyse their antenuptial correspondence. The second part of my work has attended to the use of women in the social life and it has focused on their involvement into the {\clqq}morning-room`` life. I have outlined the women incidence in the public asociation in the third chapter.I have been interested in any women activites mainly the philanthrophy. I have tried to find out if the husbands had encouraged thein wives in these acitivities. I have focused on the role of women in the family. I have observed how the husbands had been participated in the running the household and education of their children. I have studied the family correspondence. I have focused on the political aspect of the letters. I have tried to catch how much the women had been interested in the policy.
