Device for Imitation of Static and Dynamic Handwriting Characteristics
Pawlus, Jan ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This project deals with designing and assembling a system for imitation of static and dynamic handwriting characteristics. This system's design takes into account special pen targeted for getting the handwriting characteristics, working with these characteristics and their imitation with a 3D printer altered for this purpose. This topic might be interesting because research about this specific field, which would include a real demonstration of how a signature can be forged using dynamic handwriting characteristics not by forger's hand, barely exists. The problem with preventing forgery is that we need to know the attack well, which is a clear motivation for this project.
iPhone Application for Number Plate Recognition
Sládeček, Roman ; Dvořák, Radim (referee) ; Procházka, Boris (advisor)
This thesis talks about theoretical and practical side of development of application for Apple iPhone mobile cell phone and for its operating system called iOS. In theoretical part are contained informations about history of this device, about tools for creating application for this mobile platform and there is shortly sketched procedure and process how the application is deployed into the phone. Next part deals with the licence number plates, their signification and integrity restrictions. Main core of whole thesis is a practical part about creation and implementation mobile application for recognition of that number plates with supporting of built-in camera and its consecutive text representation or manipulation with that data. In the final part there is a review of results which this application brings after testing and experimenting in different conditions.

Simple Character Recognition
Duba, Nikolas ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on optical character recognition and its processing. The goal of this application is to make it possible easily track daily expenses. It can be used by an individual or by a company as a monitoring tool. The main principle is to make this tool most as user friendly as it can be. The application gets its input from hardware, such as a scanner or camera, and analyzes the content of the cash voucher for further processing. To analyze the voucher, the application employs different optical character recognition methods. The result is subsequently parsed. Detailed explanations of used methods are inside the document. The application output is a filled database with cash voucher details. Another part of the work is an information system with the main purpose of displaying the collected data.
