Analysis of strut frames structure using the tensegrity principle
Marek, Martin ; Lukáš, Petr (referee) ; Jadrná, Lucie (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on strut frame structures using the tensegrity principle. It outlines a theoretical introduction to strut frame structures with an explanation of basic conditions of strut frame structure existence. It further describes the basic theory of strut frame structures using the tensegrity principle, their characteristics and their advantages and disadvantages. In the research section the occurence of biotensegrity in nature and human anatomy is presented. A description of use of tensegrity in practice is also presented. After the research section a computational section follows, this section contains basic thoughts used in the 2D model such as the considered materials and the strut frame geometry. A numerical computation in the ANSYS simulation software and an anlytical computation in MATLAB is presented. Last, a numerical computation of a 3D strut frame model with the tensegrity principle is described.
Lifts - development and routine
Minařík, Adam ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the most used elevator in the last decade and its description, when the book sources were used, but mostly the practice and information from the employees of the company Výtahy s.r.o. Further, the work contains some of the latest solutions in the area of elevator technology and exceptional solutions of lifts.
Usage of Rope Techniques in Diving Practice of the Services of the Integrated Emergency System
Macan, Antonín ; Vondrášek, David (advisor) ; Vilášek, Josef (referee)
Title: Usage of Rope Techniques in Diving Practice of the Services of the Integrated Emergency System Objective: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is creating a compiled material on using ropes and rope techniques in diving practice of the services of the Integrated Emergency System. Method: The main method for this thesis was compiling information from a wide range of available literature which deals with rope techniques and transferring their use into conditions of diving practice of the emergency services. Important sources for the thesis were personal interviews with experienced rope access workers, divers and rescue workers. The thesis also utilizes personal experience of the author. Results: Collected material on usage of rope techniques used in diving by emergency services not only in underwater conditions, but also when access to water surface and transport from water are difficult. Using these rope techniques valuably increases safety of the divers and using them is suitable not only in emergency services, but for all divers who find themselves in such conditions, where it is advisable or even necessary to use such techniques. Key words: Diving, ropes, rope technique, emergency services
