Financial analysis provides a number of methods that allows evaluate the situation in which a company is in order to provide the basis for effective business management. The result is a healthy company with a positive outlook for the future.

Evaluation of Planned Investments in the Selected Company with Regard to the Financial Situation

This thesis aims to assess the effectiveness of planned investments in agricultural cooperatives Dešov. To evaluate the effectiveness of the investment plan the static and dynamic methods are applied. The financial analysis represented by relative indicators is performed in the work. According to the resulting values of these indicators the proposals to improve the weaknesses are identified. Using the methods of evaluating the economic efficiency of the investment recommendations on the implementation and proposed recommendations for the further development of agricultural cooperatives is formulated.

Financial analysis of a chosen company

The main purpose of this work is to evaluate the financial situation of a chosen company based on the data from the financial statements. Financial analysis can be understood as a set of activities which are used for finding and comprehensively assessing the financial situation of the company. It contains description of subjects using financial analysis, data sources and using methods of financial analysis. Right after introducing the chosen company, the work deals with the analysis of financial statements data by vertical and horizontal analysis and analysis of the relative indicators of the chosen company. In the end, two bankruptcy models were applied to determine the financial situation of the company.

Financial analysis of the company

This bachelor thesis focuses on the financial analysis of one selected company which is engaged in baked goods and confectionery production. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to perform a financial analysis of the selected company, assess its financial situation and analyse any sources of inefficiency in relation to the specialization of the company. The literature review focuses on financial analysis. It also includes methodology including a pyramid decomposition analysis. The practical part contains the characteristics of the company and the financial analysis itself, which has been conducted on the basis of financial statements for the years 2010-2014 that are evaluated and the main sources of inefficiency in the company are identified.

Financial analysis of parent and subsidiary companies in selected branch

This bachelor thesis is concerned with financial analysis of parent and subsidiary companies of two worldwide known brands in jewelry industry during the period of 2011-2014. The main objective was to determine which one of the parent companies has a stronger position on the global market and which one of the subsidiary companies has a better position on the Czech market. For performing the comparison between companies was used the companies' financial analysis. Under this work was found out, that company Pandora is considered as a healthier on the global market, and at the same time subsidiary company Pandora shows better results on the Czech market.

Finanční analýza společnosti United Parcel Service Czech Republic, s. r. o. a srovnání s konkurenty

This thesis is focused on the financial analysis of United Parcel Service Czech Republic, s. r. o. during the period from 2010 to 2014 and the subsequent comparison of its results with selected comparable companies. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part the methods of the financial analysis are defined and the optimal values of each financial indicator are determined. In the second part the company is introduced and the specific values of the described indicators are calculated as well as there is an intercompany comparison realized. The conclusion of this thesis is dedicated to an accurate description of the current situation of the company in the context of both optimal values and values which are usually achieved by comparable companies.
