Preschool Children Drawings (developmental aspect of overlap in primary school)

The thesis deals with the developmental period of preschool-aged and early school- aged children and their drawing of a figure. The theoretical part describes the children's development at this time and also their developmental oddities and determinants that influence the development. It follows up the children's drawing, its developmental stages and especially the drawing of a human figure. The practical part focuses on the drawing of a human figure created by children in kindergartens and elementary schools. It's divided into two stages. At the first stage there is the drawing evaluated according to the Draw-a-person Test written in 1982 by J. Šturm and M. Vágnerová. The discovered values are interpreted from the qualitative and quantitative point of view. The attention is paid to remarkable events at the second stage. The practical part validates or disproves given hypotheses. The whole dissertation, its contribution to research and use for pedagogical workers are summarized in the conclusion. Addictive behavior in relation to modern technologies and the internet in children of early school age

Introduction: This thesis deals with addictive behavior in relation to modern technologies in children of early school age. Modern technologies are part of the lives of ever younger children, but it is not entirely known what effect the use of these technologies has on a child's development at this age, his cognitive or social abilities. Objectives: The aim of this research was to map the addictive behavior on modern technologies in children of early school age. Following the patterns of use of modern technology that children show, what opinion the parent and the child themself have about the use of modern technologies by children, and what is the difference between these two opinions. Also, the aim of this research was to describe what rules or restrictions parents set within the use of modern technologies by their children. Sample: The sample consisted of 8 parents of children of early school age and the children themselves. From each parent one child at age 6-9 years. The selection was made by the method of simple intentional (purposeful) selection. Methods: The research part of this thesis was performed in a qualitative form. Neurotic Disorders of Early-school Age Children

The thesis deals with neurotic disorders problems, which can, due to different causes, affect children in the early-school age. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts and their characteristics (neurotical disorder, history of the concept, early-school age, neurotical symptoms of children, disorders such as: sleep, somatic, food-intake, excretion, adaptation and anxiety, obsessional-compulsive, communication and speaking, sadness and depression, suicidal tendencies and behaviour). Further on it describes a number of internal and external factors, which can participate in the originating of child{\crq}s neurotic disorders. The end of this part is dedicated to the treatment by means of psychotherapy, psychopharmacotherapy, eventualy by means of relaxation. These therapeutical procedures end with preventive aspects and advices how to communicate with neurotic children. The practical part contains four briefly case reports of neurotic children, which lead to the understanding of the problem described on concrete example. Simultaneously it refers to the fact, that in many cases the disorders are a result of dysfunctional family environment.
