Improving the quality of telecare and its optimization

(in English) This thesis focuses on the quality and optimization of Telecare (emergency care) in the Czech Republic. In the first part, the author addresses the definition of Telecare (emergency care), associated risks, the provision of Telecare (emergency care) in the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom, the quality of social care, quality standards, methods of quality measurement and inspection, and the target group for emergency care. After the theoretical introduction, the author proceeds to the methodological part, where he attempts to acquaint the reader with the process of the service from the users' perspective. The research utilized a qualitative method of semi-structured interviews with nine participants - three social workers, three dispatchers, and three service users from the organization Anděl Strážný, z.ú. The research yielded several findings: a lack of awareness among healthcare and social workers, insufficient modernization of monitoring equipment, the absence of dispatcher visualization from the users' perspective, and a lack of standardization in both the emergency care itself and the monitoring devices. The quality evaluation system of the low-threshold club Jahoda services

Diploma thesis "The quality evaluation system of the low-threshold club Jahoda services" deals with questions of evaluation and rising of social services quality, which is the primary objective for well functional organization in commercial as well as noncommercial zone. Thesis is primary applied to sphere of social services and its aim is making proposal for evaluation of services quality for concrete institution providing low-threshold social services to children from 6 to 15years old. The first part describes social services in legal social services in legal and describes low- threshold institutions for children and teenagers, representation low-threshold club Jahoda. Next targets are about possible styles of evaluation provided services quality and their fixation in standards of social services quality. The second part of thesis is practical part, which attends to the proposal of system for quality evaluation offered services in low-threshold club Jahoda. Proposal of this system is coming out from analysis of present system used in the institution and its main part is questionnaire investigation between users, employees, volunteers and trainees of NZDM Jahoda. Utilisation of analyses of human resource management systems for the development of non-profit organisations

This thesis explains how personnel audits and parts of procedural audits that are focusing on personnel management can be used and optimised in non-governmental organisations (NGOs). All these processes are part of civil society and engagement in the form of volunteering. There is an emphasis on the quality of the social services which are subject to audit. The empirical part of the thesis is based on questionnaire surveys and structured interviews and draws on the experience of auditors in the Czech Republic and of the NGOS in which the audits took place. It takes into account feedback from organisation staff and auditors. The key outputs are an overview of the benefits and limitations of personnel audits, together with a set of recommendations for NGO audit providers. Needs and Their Fulfillment For Persons With Mental and Combined Disabilities in Selected Facilities For Adults In Prague

Bachelor thesis examining the needs and need fulfillment of persons with mental and combined disabilities in selected adult facilities in Prague. The theoretical part contains definitions of mental disability, retardation and combined disability and describes the needs of persons with mental disabilities. This section then reports on social services and the Social Services Act, and evaluates the present condition of social services in Prague. The practical part analyzes three selected daily welfare institutions - Modry Klic, Ruka Pro Zivot and Ratolest - and assess their success in meeting the biological, psychological and social needs of their clients. Overall, the rate of satisfaction with clients' need fulfillment in these selected institutions is relatively high.

Social services represent an outstanding part of social policy of each country. They should maintain a standard of living and personal dignity, help in comeback to the society and prevent people from social exclusion. The aim of my thesis was Social Services Provided by G-centre in Tábor Before and After the Law 108/2006 About Social Services Came Into Force. The research part be composed of quantitative and qualitative method. In order to find the corresponding information, we have used the techniques of SWOT analysis and secondary and content analyses.
