Diplomová práce se zabývá důstojností člověka trpícího Alzheimerovou chorobou. Kvalitní odborná péče pramení z hodnot lásky a úcty k bližnímu. Popisujeme jednotlivá stádia onemocnění spolu se změnami, které pro člověka znamenají. Klíčem k zachování lidské důstojnosti člověka s Alzheimerovou chorobou je specifická péče. Individuální přístup. Empatie. Rovnocenný vztah. Umění komunikace. Shrnujeme i rizikové oblasti praxe, ve kterých může nejčastěji docházet k nedůstojnému zacházení. It describes particular illness stages together with related changes.
