Compression and Quality Assessment of ECG Signals
Patologické signály byly komprimovány s nižší efektivitou a kvalitou než signály fyziologické.
Computer-aided data quality monitoring and assessment in clinical research
Šiška, Branislav ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Schwarz, Daniel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the monitoring and evaluation of data in clinical research. Usual methods to identify incorrect data are one-dimensional statistical methods per each variable in the register. Proposed method enters directly into database and finds out outliers in data using machine learning combined with multidimensional statistical methods that transform all column variables of clinical register to one, representing one record of patient in the register. Algorithm of proposed method is written in Matlab.
User Interface Using WWW for Photo Image Analysis
Balcárek, Lukáš ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the user interface for machine quality assessment of the technical groups of photos. This work is written about photos, graphics editors and their evaluation. The practical part is focused on the design and creation of application with web user interface, which evaluates and compares the quality of photos. Finally is this created application with its user interface tested by users, its benefits and opportunities for further expansion are evaluated.
Quality management proposals in the company
Malá, Alena ; Koňák, Lubomír (referee) ; Bartes, František (advisor)
The thesis analyses a quality management process in a manufacturing company and offers suggestions and recommendations for improvement. This thesis should assist in more effective quality management process and help company to get a competitive advantage with using TQM method.
Biometric fingerprint liveness detection
Váňa, Tomáš ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with biometric fingerprint liveness detection. The theoretical part of the work describes fingerprint recognition biometric systems, fingerprint liveness detection issues and methods for fingerprint liveness detection. The practical part of the work describes proposed set of discriminant features and preprocessing of fingerprint image. Proposed approach using neural network to detect a liveness. The algorithm is tested on LivDet database comprising real and fake images acquired with tree sensors. Classification performance approximately 93% was obtained.
Laboratory exercises for ultrasound medical imaging
Jordánek, Tomáš ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is about ultrasound imaging systems. In the beginning, there are described ultrasonic waves and principles of physics. Next part is about clinical use of ultrasound system. There are described modes of imaging and probes used in practise. Doppler systems are also mentioned. Next part is about evaluation of image. In practical part of my thesis I am evaluating quality of image produced by GE Vingmed Ultrasound System Five REM. From this part had been created a laboratory exercise about basics of working with ultrasound systems. Next semester, I worked with ultrasound produced by 3B Scientific. There were made several laboratory exercises for this ultrasound and they were tested. For scanning in B-mode was made simple construction. Last part was about creating own phantom.
Segmentation of ECG signals based on their quality
Roháček, Adam ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
This work is about ECG quality assessment. In the first part of this work I am introducing the reader to the theory of this topic. I am also explaining basic terms and possible methods of quality assessment. In the second part I am trying to solve the assessment by either creating an algorithm of my own or applying an existing algorithm. In the end I am testing the algorithm and judging the results.
Vplvv faktorov kvality služieb na lojalitu návštevnikov v regiónoch Liptov a Tatry
Sobotová, Simona
Sobotová, S. The influence of service quality factors on the visitors loyalty in the Liptov and Tatras regions. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University. 2021. The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the level of influence of destination quality factors on the loyalty of visitors in the mountain regions of Liptov and Tatras. In addition, the work examines the satisfaction of visitors with quality factors in the summer and winter seasons. These are then compared with the importance of the same factors. Marketing research was used to obtain primary data using a questionnaire survey. The data were then evaluated using IPA analysis and multiple regression analysis.
Client oriented assessment of servis quality of two inpatient physiotherapy units, a comparative study
Tomková, Alice ; Slanina, Petr (advisor) ; Tošnarová, Hana (referee)
The main object of this diploma thesis is to compare two inpatient physiotherapy units from the patients point of view. The first part of this thesis is focused on theory connected with current economic position of individual medical facilities in the system of Czech healthcare, their image and credit. The next part defines quality of service in medicine and methods of assessment of quality, both objective and subjective. Objective methods cover the system of Medical Standards, Accreditation and Specialized Medical Assessment Systems. Subjective methods comprise both qualitative and quantitative assessment. In the practical part of this thesis the quantitative assessment questionnaires from two physiotherapy units are analyzed to identify fields for future improvement at each medical facility. Both physiotherapy units are described and structure of questionnaire is defined. The results indicate reserves in the field of communication between patient and medical professionals, quality of patients wards and degree of privacy. Sociological probe as a part of thesis reveals some key factors for patients from different social groups to be satisfied with their stay at the physiotherapy unit. KEY WORDS Quantitative Assessment, Assessment Questionnaire, Quality of Medical Care, Quality Assessment, Patient...
