Valuation of Economic Situation of Building Company with Financial Analysis

Abstractthe aim of my diploma thesis is to evaluate economical situation of a constructive company with tools of financial analysis. Theoretical part od my thesis is focused on constructive companies in genereal, account sheets, differentation of assets and liabilities and mainly on characteristics of financial analysis. Practical part of my thesis describes financial situation of a chosen constructive company with a help of financial analysis. The financial analysis is elaborated with so called horizontal and vertical analysis, method of ratio indexes, pyramid fragmentation and with a help of quick Kralicek test. Financial analysis of the company

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the selected company, to identify sources of inefficiencies and create proposals to improve the current situation. The first part presents the theoretical background of financial analysis as a basis to frame out the methodology and to perform the following practical analysis. For the evaluation of the financial situation, the company financial statements and the financial statements of a group of companies from the same field for the period 2012 to 2016 are used. Both fundamental and technical analysis are applied. In the technical part, the techniques of horizontal and vertical analysis, net working capital analysis, analysis of financial ratios, DuPont analysis, Grünwald solvency index and index IN05 are used. All the company results are compared with the results of the group of companies from the same industrial sector. The outcome of the analysis is that the company went through a crisis during the given period, however, over the last two years it has been in a situation of a strong financial health. It has excellent liquidity, low debt ratio and positive profitability. The company should focus mainly on attracting new qualified workers and on investments of redundant financial means.

The goal of this bachelor thesis Financial analysis of Marlenka international, s.r.o. is to analyse development of the company Marlenka international s.r.o. during monitored period of time between the years 2008 and 2013 based on data available to general public. This bachelor thesis is devided into 2 parts. First one is methodical part, where there is an explenation of methodology of financial analysis used in this thesis. The second part is practical part, which includes results of used methods from methodical part, on which basis the evalution is made from different perspectives. Than, the comparison with competitive company, SEMAG, is made. At the end, the copmany is evaluated and according to findings from practical part, the forecast about company is made.

Financial analysis of concrete company

This Bachelor thesis is focused on assessment of a financial situation of a company in the period between 2008 - 2012. Rating of company is based on indicators of the financial analysis. In the thesis described theory, that relates of the financial analysis and introduced different methods of the financial analysis. Suitable methodology has been prepared to assess specific company for the calculation. The analysis proceeds in two stages. In the first stage analysis were executed horizontal and vertical analysis. These indicators complete an idea of financial situation of company. In second stage have been used indicators, that used in the Du Pont analysis. In the end the thesis has been evaluated financial situation of company.

ANALYSIS OF THE COMPANY USING TIME SERIES METHODS AND FINANCIAL ANALYSIS

The goal of my bachelor work was to analyze the company Profi - Service, Ltd., which I chose for it. I have divided the work into two parts. In the first part I focused on the analysis of time series development of the profit. Firstly described the behavior of this series and modeled it using different models. The first model I focused on is the small trend method. Then I created model with seasonality regression. In the end of this section I will make a spectral analysis. Based on these models, I tried to predict the future development of the profit. For the calculation of some values I used program Statistika. In the second part, I focused not only on the financial analysis of the company Profi - Service, Ltd., but for making comparison, I made financial analysis for the company Uniclean, Ltd. too. The resulting values of indicators were also compared with industry averages. I started with evaluative indicators, next I made the analysis of funds and finaly I made a pyramidal decomposition of indicator the return of equity.

Analysis of financial results of Czech companies and their relation to the macroeconomic development

The foundation stone of this thesis is to perform a financial analysis of Czech non-financial companies for the years from 2007 to 2009 in order to evaluate development of the basic groups of financial analysis ratios before and after the outbreak of the financial crisis. Based on this analysis, I analyze the changes of the selected ratios in relation with the macroeconomic development. This is carried out by means of the description in words and for some significant changes using correlation analysis with GDP. The analysis results in the findings that the changes of ratios of return on assets and return on equity were negative in the analyzed period and for each year the factors of these changes are tracked using the pyramidal decomposition. In the statistical part of my thesis I partially succeeded in proving linear correlation between return on assets and GDP and a lower confidence level linear correlation between personnel cost to revenues ratio and GDP. Also, there were some correlations between individual ratios found to be significant.

The goal of my thesis is to evaluate financial health of Budweiser Budvar, National Corporation, focusing on its stability in time. As the Corporation stays one of the last of its kind (a National Corporation), we cannot deny a possibility of a change of its business entity in near future. Moreover, the posibility may demand increased need of external users for a financial analysis. This thesis also includes a cross-corporate comparison to Pivovary Staropramen, a. s.
