Comparison of sport financing system from public budgets in Czechia in the years 2019 and 2021

Title: Comparison of sport financing system from public budgets in Czechia in the years 2019 and 2021 Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to compare the systems of financing sports from public budgets in the Czechia for the years 2019 and 2021 and to obtain the views of subsidy recipients on the current system. Methods: There are qualitative methods of data collection used in the thesis. First of them is a comparative analysis carried out in four areas. Legislative documents, methodology of applications, methodology of subsidy allocation and distribution of subsidies. The second method used is questioning. The chosen type of this method is a semi-structured interview. The respondents are two representatives of sports associations and four representatives of sports clubs. Results: The comparative analysis together with the conducted semi-structured interviews identify pros and cons of the sport financing systems in both years 2019 and 2021. The 2019 system has higher quality in the methodology of applications area, because applying was easier for sports organisations that year. However, the 2021 year is better in the legislative documents area thanks to the amendment to the Act on the Support of Sport. Political Party Financing in Czech Republic: The way to the transparent system

Subject of the master thesis is an analysis of system of political party financing in Czech Republic and the thesis is structured in four chapters. The theoretical part, first and second chapter, focuses on general foundation and legislation of political party financing. Third chapter analyses models of financing on the basis of specific data of selected political parties and evaluate public funding and private funding. Fourth chapter concentrates on main issues of current system, analyses the proposal of Ministry of the Interior to change bill 424/1991 about grouping of political parties and political movements, and propose measures increasing transparency.

Development of tuition fees in higher education in EU countries

This thesis "Development of tuition fees in higher education in EU countries" deals with the development of tuition fees as a means of higher education funding in EU countries. First part deals with the development of European higher education policy. Then the development and form of tuition fees in EU countries is described. The development of tuition fees in these three countries is analysed ? in Germany and Austria and also United Kingdom, because the tuition fees here is the highest within all EU countries. The conclusion of this thesis is focused on the issue of introducing tuition fees in the Czech Republic in the context of EU countries and on presenting the arguments of both the advocates and the opponents of its possible introducing.

Financing of Political Parties in the Czech Republic

Is the system of the financing of political parties in the Czech Republic effective and transparent? Do political parties work as independent subjects in real? The goal of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the financing of political parties in the Czech Republic and is structured in three chapters. The first one describes general basis of the theme. The second chapter concentrates on the models of financing and current trends. Transparency and the control mechanism are analysed in the third chapter. To achieve the goals of the thesis serve information from the period 2001 - 2009.
