Realtime system for web analytics

This thesis deals with the design of a realtime system for web analytics. The aim of this work was to implement this system. At first, research was conducted on existing tools and suitable technologies, based on which the system architecture was designed. Data from websites are collected by tagging the pages with JavaScript. The collected data are sent to the public cloud, where the system is deployed. The system processes the data, stores them in a database and makes it accessible to users through an information system.
Visual control of the number of free parking spaces using cloud services

The aim of this thesis is to design and develop cloud app service using public cloud services and computer vision to asses number of free parking spots at parking lot. I designed two possible architectures (using different potion of cloud services to run) and one of these was implemented. I also developed a web-app to handle user-interaction with the service.
The analysis of modern cloud solutions

This thesis describes existing cloud storage systems. Description of the prerequisites of developing cloud and distributed systems are presented. Current storage systems such as Dropbox, iCloud and Google drive are described. Description is mainly focused on the resources of both protocols and derive a conclusion for the use in the cloud storage systems. The practical part of this work is focused on creating two labs, what will be implemented in the teaching syllabus of Projecting, Administration and Security of Computer Networks subject. The first of the labs is focused on the implementation of own cloud services. In the last lab students attention will concentrate on interception of communication secured with SSL protocol.

Analysis of IaaS market

The thesis focuses on cloud computing which has become technological trend in the last years and possibilities how to use IT services. Still more expanding offer of cloud services brings new ways for organizations how to efficiently utilize capabilities. The main objective of thesis is the Infrastructure as a service market's analysis carried out in the form of comparison between chosen IaaS public cloud providers, based on multicriterial decision making. For purposes of the analysis are set appropriately categorized criteria on which basis is provider's comparison performed. Partial objectives of theoretical part is the definition of cloud computing and its division, description of strengths and weaknesses, characteristics of IaaS market situation. The contribution is an actual comparison of IaaS providers respected to specified criteria.
Project management in cloud

Goal of this thesis is to provide a summary of information connected to cloud project management. The thesis describes, what cloud is, what types of cloud there are and also describes project management methodologies and their specifics. In the practical part of this thesis one of the methodologies is applied to a practical project. The thesis contains also a summary of practical information about cloud projects and risks associated with cloud projects.
Adoption of Cloud computing in the corporate sector

This work is focused on the newly emerging field of Cloud computing and view of adoption of this technology in various industrial sectors. The first section explains the concept of cloud computing, its characteristics and individual models. The following part is a brief analysis of the size and development of the current market for cloud services. Next section focuses on the creation of industry categories acording to area of their business, together with their description. The actual categories are examined in part four, along with their expenditures on IT and state of Cloud's adoption, in addition with specific advantages and obstacles. Results from previous section are summarized in part five. In conclusion, the hypothesis is verified and the main findings summarized.
