Stories for relaxation and therapy in kindergarten

The bachelor thesis titled Relaxation and Therapeutic Stories in Kindergarten focuses on the contribution of these methods to the development of preschool children. It presents an expert perspective on the importance of stories, fairy tales, games, drawing, relaxation, massages and mandalas. It highlights the benefits of these activities in reducing stress, promoting social skills and improving the overall psychological state of children. The practical section presents a project combining these practices and describes the implementation of a range of relaxation and therapeutic stories, haptic massages and yoga exercises in a kindergarten setting, including their subsequent evaluation with children and teacher over a six-month period. It briefly captures each of the therapeutic stories, yoga relaxation exercises with stories, relaxing haptic massages and games. It describes the process of their implementation and evaluation.
Working with the emotion of fear in preschool education

The bachelor thesis is focused on the emotions of fear and anxiety in the preschool age of the child. The first chapter clarifies the developmental specifics of preschool children in the field of emotional and cognitive development. The next chapter describes the child's emotional experience, which is closely related to the development and strengthening of mental resilience in preschool age. The last chapter of the theoretical part approaches the emotions of fear and anxiety with a focus on the child's experience of these specific selected emotions. The empirical part of the work pays attention to the possibilities and techniques of working with these emotions in kindergarten. The method of interview with kindergarten teachers is chosen for the research survey. Research shows that each individual experiences their individual fears, which may be common or atypical. During the interviews, the respondents emphasize the need for an empathic approach to the child, inducing trust, safety and security. In an effort to alleviate children's fear, teachers use a variety of tools in their practice. The thesis includes a topic for a weekly program based on a book publication on the topic of fear.
Case study of the training process of couples performing Latin American dances

Title: Case study of the training process of couples performing Latin American dances. Objectives: The main objective of this paper is the creation of case studies aimed at developing the sports career of Latin American dance couples. Another objective is to create a training plan for the next dance season based on the information gathered. Methods: The paper used content analysis and critical analysis of expert literature. The research was carried out through case studies, interviews and testing. The research sample consisted of adult Latin American dance couples. The results are presented via text, illustrative graphs and tables. Results: It was found that nowadays the performance of dance couples is most affected by their mental state at individual competitions. Depending on the current level of dancers it is necessary to focus primarily on building up psychological resilience for the next dance season. Another focus point of the preparation will be on practicing expressing the character and experience of the individual dances. A Conception of pre-school child's resilience and its comparison from teacher's and parent's point of view The key words:  psychological resilience  pre-school child  initiative  self-regulation  attachment/relationships Abstract Theoretical part In the theoretical part the term "psychic resilience" and various approaches to it will be established. The reader will be familiarized with the factors of psychic resilience that are of the utmost importance for its development. A self-contained chapter will be dedicated to the characteristics of the pre-school child with a focus on the most important areas of said age - socialization, play, the development of self-regulation and initiative. Kindergartens as important institutions throughout the pre-school age will also be targeted. Practical part The goal of the practical part is to determine whether the viewing angle and overall conception of a child's psychic resilience differ among a child's parents and a child's teachers. Given the fact that psychic resilience is being developed in two separate environments, family and school, disparities in the conception of psychic resilience from a parent and teacher's standpoint have been observed. The standardized DECA-2 form has been used.

Nurses were randomly chosen in two selected clinics of university hospital in Hradec Králové. The purpose of the theoretical part was to present personality concepts in general, stress theory, symptoms of stress and reactions to stress. Besides it also presents resilience in face of adversity. There is a separate chapter which is focused on resilience in particular. Another chapter of the theoretical part is focused on general nurses' coping strategies and mental hygiene strategies which helps to strengthen their resilience. The aim of the empirical part of bachelor thesis was to find out if there are any differences in the level of resilience among selected groups of general nurses.
