Efficiency analysis of the heat source with heat pumps
Miklas, Václav ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Máša, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the gross COP analysis of the heat source with heat pumps. In the first part, summary of the heat pump research including progressive technologies is presented. The main part is the case study dealing with the efficiency analysis of the heating system based on air source heat pumps. That includes theoretical formulation of the conditions which affects gross COP of the heat pumps. The main contribution is the evaluation of measured data. The outcome of evaluation is the average COP in the selected period. The outcome also includes dependence of the COP on different conditions and comparison of the evaluated COP and the theoretical one. Consequently, some methods for optimal operating of the heat source are recommended.
Hydrogen Production from Biomass
Ožana, Ferdinand ; Beňo, Zdeněk (referee) ; Houdková, Lucie (advisor)
First part of this master´s thesis decribes the basic properties of hydrogen, its utilization in industry and economy. Greater attention is focused on the possibilities of hydrogen produciton. Next part describes anaerobic fermentation and optimum conditions for hydrogen production. The main part of the thesis deals with posibility of hydrogen production in an experimental laboratory unit using brewer´s grains as a primary material. The experiment was aimed to find suitable process conditions for hydrogen production. The quantity of produced gas and his quality depending on the amount of brewer´s grains and frequency of the dosage was observed. Based on the experiment, some recommendations are proposed for further research. An automatic feeding system is the most important of them. It will improve the quality of experimental work. A separate chapter is devoted to the automatic feeding system.
Simulation model of an aircraft internal combustion piston engine
Olšovský, Petr ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with creating a real-time simulation model of an aircraft piston engine with emphasis on heating and cooling of the engine cylinders. First part of this thesis focuses on characteristics of aircraft engines and differences with regular automotive engines. The next chapter describes the dependence of engine parameters on atmospheric conditions. The description of the real time model itself follows next. The results of the simulation model are presented and analysed at the end of this thesis.
The special piston engines on the general aviation aircraft
Motyčka, Ivo ; Zablatzký, Jiří (referee) ; Imriš, Pavel (advisor)
Topic of this bachelors thesis are Special piston engines on the general aviation aircraft. In the first part, the historical development is adumbrate and their operating principle. Next part deals with particular special piston engines, expansion, advantages and disadvantages, principles and their impact for general aviation. There are impeaching demands of JAR-FCL 1 rules in certification of engines. Next part is being paid to operating conditions of aeroplanes. At last the confrontation between special piston engines and most used engines of general aviation is made.
Light sources in extreme operational conditions
Martiš, Jan ; Krbal, Michal (referee) ; Pavelka, Tomáš (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to inform about how various external influences can affect the operational characteristics of light sources. In the first part of the work, the light sources are categorized based on their principle of operation and the basic parameters and properties of different light source types are listed. Then the individual influences (voltage changes, temperature, operational position) and their possible effect on the operational characteristics of different types of light sources are analysed. Further, possible procedures for measuring light sources under altered conditions are mentioned and the results of practical measurements on selected light sources are presented. The last part of the work deals with ways to decrease the influence of altered operating conditions on the operation of light sources.
Analysis of the CS-25 requirements on the take-off and en-route climb.
Poláš, Přemysl ; Šošovička, Róbert (referee) ; Daněk, Vladimír (advisor)
The final bachelor´s thesis processes the CS-25 requirements on take-off path and en-route climb relating to A type-performence aircraft. It specifies this part of a flight, describes and characterizes its segments. Then it analyses the influence of operating conditions. And all is explained throught added illustrations, pictures, charts and tables.
Plain Bearings for CI Tractor Engine
Petr, David ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with the hydrodynamic plain bearings tractor diesel engine. The first part is closer acquainted with the hydrodynamic bearing, its principles and materials used. The next part work deals with the multibody system adams-engine. The main part of this work is to model the crank mechanism and its storage in hydrodynamic bearings in the MBS program and the subsequent simulation under different operating conditions.
Gas microturbine performance in relation to operational conditions
Freisleben, Vít ; Vondra, Marek (referee) ; Bobák, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the study of gas microturbine. The first part presents the main principle of cogeneration. Then there is described construction and properties of mi-croturbine technology and states major manufacturers and their products. There is also in-cluded comparison to gas engines. Analytical part makes familiar with microturbine performance in relation to operational conditions. It includes using mathematical software Maple for processing data supplied by the manufacturer. The last part compares the results of experimental measurement with cal-culated results.

Influence of operating conditions on the reliability of identification by fingerprints
Přívora, Lukáš ; Hart, Jan (advisor) ; Hartová, Veronika (referee)
The thesis is thematically focused on biometric identification systems. The theoretical part explains what biometrics is together with identification systems based on it. It also mentions a brief history of these systems, the basic concepts and errors that we encounter when used. Furthermore, it discusses the properties of the fingerprint scanners and various technologies based on its scanning. The practical part includes measuring and testing of selected biometric fingerprint scanners. The measurement focused on the values of false acceptance and false rejections of a user under standard conditions and tested whether the influence of environment affects these values. In the final part there is a summary of the results and possible shortcomings of existing biometric fingerprint scanners associated with the environment of the scanned finger.
