This diploma thesis aims on the usage of project methodologies in implementing solutions within IT. The theoretical part closely describes concepts of project management, process modelling, audit and other identified topics. Second part contains a description of Garrett Motion company, in which this project is executed, their aim, locations and a analysis of current state. The design part introduces a project aiming on process optimization within IT Project Portfolio with BIC Tool and implementation of activities related to support these processes.

This diploma thesis deals with establishing a new sales portfolio named ZaseRýže Clothing from ZaseRýže company. The theoretical part of the thesis includes definition of terms from the field of strategic analysis and project management. The analysis of the current situation of the surroundings and inside the company was carried out in the analytical section. In the design part is elaborated a plan for project realization using project management methodology.

In the first part the thesis tries to explain what project management and the role of project manager is. It also describes the project management life cycle and the processes that should be set up and followed. It also describes the basic principles of project management. And its funding. The practical part describes the project management system in the organiza-tion. It acquaints business corporations with the style of project management, who participates in the project and, last but not least, how much the project costs. In the next part is carried out internal research of the company. Where there are suggestions for improving project management.
