The Bachelor Thesis studies the means of communication of subjects in food sales. The theoretical part defines marketing mix, especially communication, consumer behavior, and associated trends, the purchasing decision-making process, and the factors affecting consumers when purchasing food products. In the practical part of the research, secondary and primary data is used. The primary data was obtained using a questionnaire with 141 respondents. The purpose of the study is to give recommendations for the distributors and manufacturers of food products to improve their sales.

The Diploma Thesis sought to generate proposals and recommendations for online food suppliers to help them boost their market success. Primary and secondary data were used to evaluate the features of buying behavior and the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic on online food shopping. According to primary research, 70% of respondents have prior experience with internet buying. Sixty percent of those remaining are in favor of using the service in the future. As a result of addressing this issue, segments have been defined for which communication strategies for online food sellers have been devised.
Retail sales with a focus on the importance of shopping centers

This diploma thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the meaning and role of shopping centers in retail sales in the Czech Republic, using analysis performed. The SWOT analysis was carried out in order to identify strengths and weaknesses of selected shopping centers and to define their opportunities and threats. Further, some of financial indicators of given studied shopping centers were calculated and the resulting data were compared to each other in the monitored time period. On the basis of these results, it was evaluated a possible impact of the effectiveness of the law of corporations to shopping centers. In the next part, two retail format focused on food sale were compared based on financial indicators. The first format is represented by hypermarkets located in shopping centers and the second one by smaller retail units. The last section describes evaluation of questionnaire focused on consumer behavior of customers during food purchase and their preferences in choice a retail format.
Consumer protection and grocery

This bachelor thesis deals with consumer protection and grocery section regulations. It's objective is to evaluate whether grocery stores stick to law while selling food and to analyze attitudes and behavior of consumers. The theoretical part deals with definition of consumer and other related concepts and with obligations of food sellers and consumer rights. The practical part consists of three parts that contain expert commentary, own research performed through grocery stores and survey taken among consumers.
Online grocery shopping

This bachelors thesis describes electronic grocery shopping. The first section briefly describes the history, basic methods of payments and distribution in e-commerce. The following chapters specify distribution processes, electronic order picking models and home delivery methods. The last section characterizes the most significant foreign online grocers and also focuses on czech e-grocery market.
