Workflow Design for a Building Company

The thesis deals with workflow design and its implementation in a construction company. The current state of document management is becoming obsolete and insufficient. Thus the company´s board has approved the realization of workflow system. The aim of this thesis is therefore analysis of company´s related processes and design of a workflow model. In addition, the new model is required to be linked with present financial and managerial accounting systems and allow for future adjustments and modifications. Final output of this thesis consists of workflow process maps, risk assessment, budget and time plan of realization.
Proposal of the Manufacturing Resource Planning System Implementation

Proposal is based on the information strategy of current processes status analysis and actual software & hardware equipment. Solution also contains the selection of information system implementation supplier and evaluate benefits of proposed information system implementation.

The main topic of the thesis is the area of logistics and production with emphasis on saving time and place in the processing of order, the layout of machines, workplaces and warehouses in the production hall. The advantages and disadvantages were analyzed in the selected company, critical points were determined and solutions were designed, comparison and evaluation were carried out with the original condition. The work is based on the theoretical foundations of the subject, collected data from its own investigations and observations of the analyzed processes.
Comparison of software products for management of law offices on the Czech market

This final thesis analyzes the most represented complex software products for management of law offices on the Czech market. At the beginning of this paper are described specifics of law offices with their classification applicable for the Czech Republic and facts that distinguish the advocacy from other fields. The next part follows with characterization of particular law office, activities of this office and software products which are used there. Other part of this work is focused on a process analysis of the mentioned law office which is introduced by a theoretical base of process modeling. Defined key processes were modeled and then options for their software support were specified. Criteria for evaluating software products were identified based on the information obtained during the preparation phase. After selection of the three most represented products these products were described and evaluated. Other chapters of this work are focused on the software which is called Acta Safe and which was developed by AiP Safe, s.r.o. Strengths and weaknesses of this software were specified in comparison to selected products of competition and then modifications and improvements were proposed. At the end of this paper are presented results of the survey. This survey was attended by lawyers and articled clerks from various sized law offices. The aim of this questionnaire survey was to determine if there is a connection between focus of the law offices and the need of using a software solution for a law office. How such software is selected, what implementation of the software brings and why there are some law offices that do not use such software. Answers to these questions are provided at the end of this thesis.
PROCESS MANAGEMENT AND THE POSSIBILITY OF ITS USE IN THE CHOSEN COMPANY

The goal of my thesis was to describe the processes in the chosen company. The goal was also to analyze one of the processes, specify its phases and suggest its change that would make the process more efficient for the customer and for the company. The analytical section was concerned with analyzing the processes and better specifying the chosen process and its problems. The synthetic section refers to the suggestion of new process structure, so that the chosen process better satisfies the customer and the company. The change was based on adding two new processes, identifying the possibility of production in the Production Department and identifying the possibility of assuring the material sources in the Purchasing Department. The change of the process was realized and the managers of interested Departments found it better than the ``old process{\crqq}.

It outlines the options for optimalisation bases of customer processes, that are determination, precise analysis and formulation of measurable criteria and finally proposes the optimalisation.The theses is connected with the results of questioning in bachelor theses.

In the first part of the diploma thesis is described the relevant theory of the Business Process Management which is fundamental background for the practical second part of the thesis. The theoretic part contains of a general description of the Business Process Management and a description of the BPM design phases, such as planning, analyzing, designing, and implementing. The second part of the diploma thesis focuses on the design of the Business Process Management in GfK Praha, s.r.o. First the company is introduced globally as well as locally. Afterwards the local branch is analyzed by real data and especially by many structural interviews with GfK employees. Most importantly, based on the workshops with the cooperative employees, there are designed new processes into the connected process maps.
Identifikace a měření výkonnosti procesů ve vybraném podniku

This dissertation deals with identification, classification and efficiency assessment in general and is later on applied to Wüstenrot - Building and Loan Association, a.s. Process is the core unit of the procedural type of Organization Management. Therefore, the Building and Loan Asociation defines the key processes and proceeds to the process mapping at the selected detail level. In the first place, this concerns the corporational detail level. Secondly, processes of Customer Satisfication are elaborated. These processes make a synergic effect and cause most valuable benefits providing the fact they are controlled. This means the Corporation Management has to reflect to the outcomes of the Process Efficiency Assessment. Every single process is described from the current situation point of view. Subsequently, proposals are made to improve its efficiency assessment.
