This master’s thesis concerns optimization of quotation process. It describes mapping of value stream by VSM Method (value stream mapping) in practical way in order to minimize cost. Further on it describes three points of view method when surveying and modifying process. It analyses process on three levels and describes suitable solution which makes process smoother and more effective. At the conclusion of this diploma project belongs evaluation of realised solutions and measures that need to be taken in future.

The goal is to become familiar with the specific procedures and methods of project management during the implementation of construction projects.
Mental Health Care i the Czech Republic: Problems and solutions

Problems of mental health care in the Czech republic have been defined in the early nineties. Yet after nineteen years of progress in this area, these problems are still major topics in mental health care policy documents. Main purpose of diploma paper is therefore to analyse mental health care problems and at the same time also might-be solutions. Mental health care problems definitions as conceptualized in mental helth care policy documents are found to be plausible. Though the amount of supportive data is sufficent, there are differences in decisiveness of some arguments. Available solutions are brought up and described in various manners in order to show their own logic, rules and after all their usability. Final conclusions consider the roles and responsiblities of various policy actors.
The identification, analysis and problem solution proposals in the cooperation of the chosen organizations

The focus of this thesis is an identification and analysis of problems which have occurred till now in the cooperation between two chosen organizations, followed by problem solution proposals. Methodology of two sociologists Charles H. Kepner and Benjamin B. Tregoe will be used to undertake this analysis. The thesis is divided in two parts, theoretical and practical. The aim of the theoretical part is to define the various concepts that will be used in this work, such as the Kepner-Tregoe methodology or definition of a problem. The practical part is oriented on the analysis of the cooperation of the chosen organizations and the problems that have occurred with the use of the mentioned methodology. The purpose of the thesis is to propose possible solutions and chose the most appropriate.

Google+ implementation in order to improve communication effectivity within workgroup

Diploma thesis is focused on electronic social networks and implementation of these networks inside a work association from information technology industry. The thesis is divided into two main parts which systematically follow each other. In theoretical part the chosen online social networks are described with highlights of possible usage in professional association. Also the usage of these networks in Czech Republic is compared and analyzed. Next in line are shown current standards in business communication and these are then softly connected to an explanation, why some kind of electronic social networks should be used in a company, regarding the law. The applying part describes the researched professional association and analyses problematic situation which is solved in this writing. Using the Multiple-criteria decision-making method an electronic social network which suits best is picked for usage in researched association and then implemented in real life. Data collected after implementation from user feedback is used to cast a résumé, whether the process went well or not, and the lasting result on communication effectivity from both management and employee views. Based on the result mentioned above, a bonus set of advices and possible innovations which the association should obey when using implemented electronic social network is included.

The theoretical part focuses of decision-making theory, which mostly describes methods of decision making. The practical part is analysis itself. Another part is about the development of building industry and influence of economic crisis. Finally, there is an appraisal of making decision.
Kepner-Tregoe’s Existing and Potential Problem (Opportunity) Analysis at Film Festival’s Organization

This diploma thesis examines risk identification, risk assessment, and risk management of existing and potential problems and opportunities at film festival's organization, using Kepner-Tregoe's methodology of Rational Processes. In the opening chapters the term risk is defined, and the Kepner-Tregoe's methodology introduced. The extensive part of the thesis focuses on application of thesis methodology on real problems and opportunities from the author's experience with organizing film festivals both in the Czech republic, and abroad. The aim of this research and application is to find a suitable methodology that can be applied to specific conditions of such a type of cultural organization.
A possibilities of strategic tourism development in the area Písek

The aim of this thesis called The Possibilities of Strategic Development of Tourism in the Region of Písek was to evaluate primary and secondary development potential of tourism in the chosen area and on the basis of this analysis to propose the possibilities of strategic development of tourism along with stating priorities and proceedings. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the problem. The analysis that followed was made with the help of marketing research. These were the basis for SWOT analyses with the definition of strong and weak points. The problem analysis then described the main problems and barriers of the monitored area.
